I'm not a Tory fruitcake, but I can remember when Harold Wilson took away the milk from school children and his chancellor went cap in hand to the IMF for a loan to get Old Blighty out of the soft stuff.<BR/>Then there was Antony Wedgewood-Benn and John Prescott who between them did wonderful things for shipbuilding and the NUS (remember them?).
