My enjoyment of the sentiment of this sentence was spoiled somewhat by the disagreement people have over whether the 'from' is redundant.

The King James bible in the 14th century is famous for its use of 'from whence', even though 'whence' means 'from where'.

G. Brown repeated at the Prime Minister's (even though the chancellor is now bullied into appearing with him) official press briefing today that Boris Johnston wishes to slash police numbers in London. This was in answer to a question about whether or not he would support Comrade Livingstone for Mayor. This was a flagrant lie(according to Boris) and a repeat of a lie made a PMQ's recently - after which Boris, called a point of order and demanded the PM come to the House to apologise and retract.
As this latest lie was repeated outside the House of Commons, and therefore attracts none of Parliament's privilege regards slander, will Boris now sue the PM for repeating this slanderous comment?

i dont think they will have any public sympathy , making fools out out the british people , is not only anti democratic but loads the question of fit for office.

from my angle there is somthing deviant and perverted about the stealth and darkness , the none answer of questions , the fiddled figures , the lack of directional information.
