Although it is estimated each year that as many as 50 to 60 thousand patients are completely consumed by Superbugs, I think you should look into the 'id meltdown' theory to explain your mother's disappearance - this problem is largely the fault of Gordon Brown's Tax Credit system being riddled by organised fraud both on the inside and out; I have a friend whose mother disappeared following an operation for an ingrowing toe-nail - she'd had her id stolen and whilst under sedation in hospital she found herself taking part in an unwitting life-swop with an illegal African immigrant: she ended up as a poor Ngizim farmer in a remote part of Yobe State, Nigeria with the difficult task of satisfying the needs of five troublesome and energetic wives whilst he became an aromatherapist married to a retired Yorkshire coal miner; strangely enough, when the woman's family discovered the awful truth about the administrative error and made contact with both her and the former Nigerian farmer, neither of them wanted to return to their previous lives.

Yes the slippers were returned after 18 months - they'd kept hold of them in case they found her and her feet were cold. They are now in a bag ready to go to the local charity shop.

I agree. My mother went into hospital for a minor operation and never came out. Can you believe it, the fucking incompetent NHS have lost her. We have been searching now for three years and have just about given up any hope. I agree Guido, it is indeed criminal to prevent these kiddies from enjoying TV shows.

They, along with other patients, would benefit immeasurably from being able to watch some of the fantastic comedy on offer - I think particularly of a hilarious sitcom where a character named Gordon Brown bites his tongue for for 11 years in order not to spoil his chances of becoming Prime Minister, but unfortunately during this period manages to totally undermine the UK economy to such a critical extent that the premiership, when he finally gets it in his grasp, is a poisoned chalice which to drink would end his political career.

Patientline phone and tv charges are considerably more than a normal Sky TV subscription. 71p per minute for a connection by mobile is OTT. Add on £6 per day for the car parking charges?
