The only bans are on trading with Iran some named individuals in Iraq and gov of sudan these are OFAC restrictions. The sukuk market is growing rapidly and it is sensible to tap it if the UK can. You are being a triffle hysterical with the comments here UK has issued $, € and yen debt in the past. Give the government a kicking on northern rock they deserve it but this is a grasping at straws.
