Up to now the reason was to tart up the figures.<BR/><BR/>I also know, for a fact, that many NR 'Together' loans will never be repaid as they were advanced on 120% of property 'value'. Once that 'value' is exposed for what it is - worthless, many more homes will go into repossession.<BR/><BR/>I agree that it will be impossible for Brown to become the Great Repossessor, and by extension if he does not do it when he should, do you think that any other borrower will care if his particular lender threatens him? He'll just say, "The Government does not repossess people so why are you? Fuck off!"<BR/><BR/>I have just spent a very therapeutic afternoon with my new chain saw.
