I went on to Labour.org.uk last thing before I trotted off to bed expecting to see Glasgoe East on the fron page as it were - not a snufty - just that welfare reform twat gobbing on as usual. Went on again this morning after hearing the good news from Scotland. Finally found the by election, on a dropdown. No mention yet that they've been shafted. They're still on about 'New Labour for Scotland'. Wanted to leave a friendly greeting like 'Not this time obviously' but couldn't be bothered filling in their info form. So, total poll for ZaNuLab less than their previous majority - RESULT. I look forward to listening to how this is spun by the Labour liers. Good luck Glasgow East - hope your luck changes under the SNP & you get the money spent on you rather than on the MPs 'home office'. Surprised at the result, I was sure that the much vaunted 'postal vote' would ensure a NuLab win - maybe there just wasn't time for the NuLab activists to fill in enough postal voting forms!!!!

I'm not so sure it is a great result. Whilst I can enjoy watching these tossers getting the kick-in they so richly deserve, and all the sweeter as it's in their own back yard. I want him down but not out. He remains our best chance of a large majority at the next election. Every week he's in power adds another few seats to the eventual landslide. We know it, they know it and best of all Cyclops knows it. Dave knows it too which is why he's been pulling his punches lately, even a five year old could see off this lot in a debate with their record. Yes, lets take the piss, but save Gordon, he'll be our best weapon in the coming battle and the idiots too stupid to realise he's being used.
