You all take gifts from NuLabour (usually in the form of stories or info) and in return you print more or less what they want you to. Also, it seems to be increasingly difficult for anybody at the BBC or one of the major papers to get a job there unless you hold a (Labour) party card. It's the same in the NHS or in local government. The fact that these people internalise and perceive as their own the opinions they need to get on in their careers makes it worse not better.

It's all getting a bit like the old Soviet Union.

for the record, i'm a journalist, who loves seeing nulab (and cameron's piss weak imitation) getting a kicking. and i'm not necessarily saying that paul is doing nothing wrong, just saying that his facepad entry (?) doesn't admit to anything which proves a breach. for instance, it doesn't say "during work hours i am..."

Robinson was spouting the usual ineffectual nonsense on Today this morning - brown nosing Bruun with regard to his useless thoughts on migrant citizenship. This seems to be at odds with his comments on the Milburn/Clarke urge for debate - he seems to having trouble working out which side he supports.

The behaviour of the Cyclops is very odd as well - trying on the one hand to be PM in waiting, yet continually hesitating to make a bid for power. A lack of confidence / insecurity or worse? Not really the qualities one expects of a Prime Minister - I don't think he has the bottle!
