I believe the court explained they progressed to discussing 'Chinese textile quotas'. Depressingly for Reinaldo & Jeff, this was probably true. Listened to today and the way they spun this. A reasonable mistake to make that has cost him dear.

He has committed perjury and gets his boyfriends from "escort" agencies.
Its been widely known he is gay for years, he apparently took this bloke on business trips.
I imagine the furory over other public figures if they committed perjury and allegedly used prostitutes. This is worse than the Archer saga ( he only paid one off allegedly)

Nothing whatsoever to do with this story, but I got an interesting leaflet from UKIP through my door yesterday. The bulk of it was about the undemocratic, taxpayer funded regional assemblies that already exist in England, such as the South East's in Guildford. But I discovered that if the EU's INTERREG IIIa Programme goes ahead, I'm going to be in France, not Kent. I thought this might be of interest to Guido fans.

Don't know about 'homophobia', but there seems to be a fair bit of NuLabophobia and Broonophobia ... oh, sorry, they can't be phobias, they're rational fears.

The other aspect of the story - which the judge has said has to remain private - is the details of the conversations at the cosy dinners Browne and this guy had with Blair, Mandelson and so on. That might have been quite interesting to hear about, don't you think?
