It's Groundhog Day!!!

Frank Field has a meeting with Gordon Brown, comes out and says the 10p tax problem is solved.

Later that evening a cabinet minister (Yvette Cooper)on Newsnight is incoherent when asked a simple question "Will all losers be fully compensated"

Labour is then decimated in the local elections with the 10p tax being quite understandably a major issue.

Frank then threatens to reinstate his amendment and is granted the honour of an interview with Alistair Darling. Comes out and announces that the 10p tax problem is solved.

Later the same evening, a cabinet minister (Hazel Blears)on Newsnight is incoherent when asked a simple question "Will all losers be fully compensated"

I think the LibDums are an irrelevance now, and surprisingly considering they dumped Huhne, they are even more of an irrelevance with Clegg.

He is probably the most low key and disappointing leaders I can think of since Michael Foot, and then even for a Lib Dum, and that's saying something.
