Turn the clock back 20 years and real policy was actually discussed from the podium. It was controversial, there was heckling and the viewer realised that somehow true debate was going on.<BR/><BR/>Today, Gordon Brown will ramble on and bore the pants off everyone. What is he actually saying? Ask yourself this five minutes after his speech.
