I really don't think you understand. The more you denigrate University students and their lifetimes achievements, the more you insult the parents.
As the years roll by, the build up of graduates increases and the more people you insult.
You Tories have got to make up your mind;are you going to continue with this type of verbal abuse or are you going to serious about education?
This is one area that you are definitely failing and trailing to Labour.

Re "Actually we wrecked it between 87 and 90", I could not agree more but the problem is they carried on damaging the economy into the 90s.

I know they lost control in the late 80s as I was working in the City at the time. The Tories allowed demand to let rip which wasn't helped by cutting income tax to 40%, halving MIRAS but on a delayed basis, and keeping rates down post Black Monday (desirable though it was). They did not learn their lesson and screwed the economy into the ERM with disastrous consequences for many.

I realised what a balls up they were makin and downsized my property which made the 40 odd per cent fall in value more bearable, although it was a pain waiting almost a decade for it to return to the price I paid for it. Other people lost their homes with repossessions continuing into the late 90s and quite a few went bankrupt.

Studying what? All labour have done is devalue a degree. In fact what has happened is that University is about teaching and lecturing rather than students learning. It has quite literally destroyed university.

Actually we wrecked it between 87 and 90 when Lawson boomed it to the point of bust. Lamont and Major had actually managed it most of the way back by White Wednesday which just set us free of tied currency placebo and the rest, as they say, is history as we enter our 14th year of continuous growth since then.

Based on what he has said to date, I fear Cameron may have lost (but not for himself) before he has begun. If he is prepared to swallow (which is the impression I get) so much of what has been rammed dowm our throats by New Labour and the pc brigade, then he will have lost regardless of how many of his mates become MPs.
