Guido Now Available Offline on Amazon's Kindle
As part of Guido's continuing contribution to saving the trees from slaughter and making himself ubiquitous this blog is now available offline to subscribers via Amazon's Kindle reader.Everybody is Twittering nowadays, rolling news keeps on rolling frenetically and somewhat pointlessly. Perhaps instead you need to download the 4000 or so articles Guido has written in the last 4 years and sit on a beach under a tree. Get a Kindle and you can, it is like an iPod for text. (You can read things called books on it as well.)
You are either in front of Guido, or behind...

Hmmm.Don't think I want to 'Twitter'.People who post to blogs want to get something off their chests and feel a little self important while doing so.Doesn't fit with 'twittering'.Why didn't Timpson's campaign use:'Cobblers To Labour'?
I quite like accumulating books, and I certainly wouldn't take an expensive piece of kit to a sandy beach.
If I want Guido I'll go to the internet caff!
Stephen Poliakoff (in Friends and Crocodiles) said digital books would never take off, so he must be right.
Are Kindles available in the UK now? I thought they were only available in the States.
Does Iain Dale sleep at Isle of Sky news he is always there reviewing the papers poor soul
But can you wipe your arse on it?
I keep a copy of Ambition by Julie Birchill specifically for that purpose. If I am pissing rusty water out of my arse after a curry, I keep a copy of the Koran.
I'd say its safer traveling in front of you than behind you if you're driving pissed again
$399. Can Guido afford it?
Carry on like this, Guido & you're going to have as much wedge as a Labour politician.
...in front of Guido or behind...
So take your pick: burped or farted at??
These are OK for reading indoors but the backlight is absolutely CRAP and makes it almost impossible to read outdoors in sunlight.
Guido, your idea of reading on a beach, even under a tree, would not work.
Hmm, reminds me of the Apple Newton and looks just about as outdated now. Much better to have a PDF reader on an iPhone - at least that's one less item to lose on holiday, its a lot cheaper and you can look at some decent porn after browsing order-order.com ... oops.
Jacqui Smith is getting her a*** whipped right now live on News 24 by the Police Federation
As has been mentioned, this is a US device, which they won't deliver to the UK and uses a data network which doesn't exist in the UK.
Trouble is Kindle doesn't seem to take pdf files? Anyone know different?
Yes the Nokia N95 8GB is an excellent substitute for browsing and stuff when you are on the move. Don't know why I wasted £600 on a laptop, I've never taken it anywhere.
Apparently I need flashlite 3 to view Youporn but can't seem to find it anywhere.
Only probably is a lot of us like buying old books no longer in print that are unlikely to be converted.
Bloody hell Guido, start thinking of us thick twats more will you. Please. I mean, what the fuck does 'ubiquitous' mean? I aint got a degree or nothing!
I use my Nokia E90 for pdfs - excellent. don't bother shifting my notebook about with me now except for playing Crysis.
I'd be tempted to read your twitter feed, if there was anything more on there than your RSS.
[Switches envy mode on] You can play Crysis on your laptop? Even my PC is struggling with that game and its got a 512Mb graphics card in it.
