Crewe & Nantwich Betting

After seeing some of the LibDem campaign literature and the undeniable fact that the Labour odds have lengthened even further, Guido has covered his bet taking the hit and cutting his losses on that Labour bet.

The LibDems are not repeating the mistake they made in the Mayorals. They attacked Boris when the public was moving towards the Tories. This election they are going with the popular flow and attacking Labour. Their advertising says "Send a Message to Gordon Brown". They might take some votes from disillusioned Labour voters who can't bring themselves to vote Tory. More bad news for Tamsin...

Guido, I am a devoted fan but.......
Labour will win this seat narrowly because the prats who put this bunch of aresoles in power and kept them there will carry on regardless.
However, they will be pissed upon eventually. Not least because they will realise that we are fucked and so as a third world nation people will starve.
I hate Labour and it's cretinous testicle brigade. How on God's earth are these two twats Cabinet Ministers? They are really having a laugh!
Still, they will claim Crewe and Nantwich as a turning point. If not, a release from Dunblane. Snot gobbler, nail biter, will be well pleased.
Don't let him be.

If even the LibDems are savaging Labour on the basis of Gordy's funking clist, then the great nose-picker-in-chief really is toast. The LibDems have never gone after anything that could shoot back...

WTF!

Check out today's Daily Mail (Tues).

http://static.sky.com/images/pictures/1678045.jpg

Now a Tax to pay for old age.

...The Daily Mail goes on that Gordon Brown has also proposed an “ageing tax” to provide care for the elderly.

Gordon, how about the "trying for a baby" tax? e.g. sex tax. We all know Death tax is inheritance tax, old age tax, then why not Sex tax?
To enforce: cameras in every home and place where sex between consenting adults is possible.

Gordon Brown is a fucking disaster.

Dare I suggest with selling UK gold reserves are rock bottom prices, mismanagement of the UK economy for many years as Chancellor, and now as PM, sealing from the pension funds etc.. etc... he has cost the UK more than in economic terms than the many years of accumulated disasters around the world.

We could work this out in economic terms and work back to a date in the past and call it the Crash Gordon Disaster Barometer (CGDB). What year is is Year Zero for this?

Ideas anyone? Of course Year Zero would change based on ongoing Crash Gordon disasters and foregoing World disasters.

The "Dear Leader's" "consultation on social care" and his re-launch of the re-launch of the re-launch isn't likely to do Labour much good especially with "Middle England" or those "hardworking families" Brown keeps harping on about. If you have modest savings and have worked hard and managed to buy your own house there's nothing in any Labour policy for you.

However - spend, save nothing and own nothing you're in the "promised land"

So the question is - how many of the latter group can be "arsed " to vote - not many I would suspect. However the former group I believe are now possessed of a "terrible resolve" to get rid of Labour and Brown and will vote in their thousands to do so

"Middle England's" love -in with Labour is over - the scales have dropped from their eyes as they stare at higher mortgage repayments;property values falling; re-possessions; higher energy and food bills and they are looking for someone to blame and will exact revenge on the Brown Government for the years of hubris and broken promises and failure to deliver anything other than high taxation for little or no benefit for them or their families

Local Tories have done well in Crewe Nantwich, but not well enough for the shoe heir to win the seat. Labour to hold.

The Con Home [bandwagon] bus will lose a few votes. The tossers should stay where they belong.

WTF - Do Labour now believe that seats should be inherited??!!

What other merit does this bint have, beyond her name??!!

Check out the Crewe Labour website - it out-bigots the BNP. (Having a nice house is a bad thing, apparently!)

This is a product of NuLabour's warped minds:-

"The Human Fertilisation and Embryology Bill will allow the creation of hybrid human and animal "admixed" embryos, which scientists hope will lead to developments in the treatment of conditions such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's.

It also removes the requirement for fertility centres to consider the child's need for a father figure before authorising treatment.

Parents will also be allowed to select an embryo which is a genetic match for a seriously ill child to create a "saviour sibling" able to donate tissue to their older brother or sister.

Opening the second reading debate, Health Secretary Alan Johnson said: "Parliament's objective has always been to support scientific advances that benefit patients and their families through a clear legal, moral and ethical framework that provides proper controls and safeguards and reflects the concerns that many people have about research that involves stem cells and embryology."

However, in a sign of the opposition the Bill faces, Labour backbencher Geraldine Smith (Morecambe and Lunesdale) described the removal of the need for a father for a child born through IVF treatment as "one of the most ill-conceived measures to be put before this House while I've been a member of it".

She said the creation of hybrid embryos was "revolting" and the prospect of saviour siblings was "appalling".
--------------------------------------------

What will the child produced as a 'saviour sibling' think when he/she finds out how they were 'created'? And more dismantling of the family structure in the proposal to 'remove the need for a father' when fertility treatment centres decide on suitability for IVF treatment. This just to fulfil the adult's selfish needs - the created child doesn't figure.

Sorry chaps but Toynbee's right on the money today. Also, the tories lost 10% of the vote yesterday by preventing lezzers from IVF - this demographic is almost a single issue caucus on equality. What ban Muslims, Blacks, lads from Yorkshire? Even Shannon Matthews could get IVF if she could stay sober long enough and learn to write but in 21st Centuary Britain ban the gays!! They're richer than hetro's anyway so that's blown the affluent voter too. Cheers Tory strategists, just undone 3 years of hard work by a Yorkshire lad - I'm gonna have to advise them to vote Lib Dem now. Tossers.

And for the record, the Conservatives WILL take Crewe and Nantwich. The Labour campaign has been a spectacular failure and seems unable to offer nothing but petty attacks on the opposition.

It's a good job Britain doesn't have too many earthquakes, Brown would have consultation followed by a review by the end of which all would be dead or dying.

I just don't like the man.

It looks like it may not really matter who wins Crewe & Nantwich - if Slough is anything to go by, it would only be a few days before the new MP is a Tory anyway (see Conservativehome.blogs.com)!

Mind you would we really want Tamsin on our side? Perhaps it would be better for her to defect to the new splinter group that I suspect Frank Field is contemplating forming after the shameful (and laughable) attempted character assassination by Ed Play-the-Man-not-the-Balls!

"Also, the tories lost 10% of the vote yesterday by preventing lezzers from IVF"

Only 1 in 32 women are lesbian. And they don't need IVF to conceive anyway - turkey baster is the preferred option. Not many of them have ever voted Tory - LGBT vote has always been lined up firmly behind Labour. On the other hand 5% of the population are church going Christians. Can't imagine many of them being keen on the mad embryo bill. More floating votes amongst church going Christians.

Gordon is a moron.

you miss the point. making a decision because you think it pulls in a certain demographic is exactly what is wrong with the current government.
It is this morally void, spin enhanced - fuck whats right, do what's popular opinion- that has screwed this country.

This is of course a democracy - but politics should have a longterm and morally accountable mandate. for all areas of policy.

Brown can't win whatever the result,if he dares trying to present keeping a Labour seat as a massive victory he'll be subjected to yet more ridicule...and as pundits noted when Vince Cable made his "Mr Bean" comment the worst thing that could happen to any politician, let alone the PM,is when people stop taking him seriously.I can't see the idiot lasting for much longer than a few months,if the by-election dosn't do him the 10p tax vote or 42 day thing will, and NuLab wouldn't dare shoe-in someone again without calling an election..which they'd lose badly.
People don't trust Brown, they don't even like him,he always comes across to me as the kind of bloke who lurks around kiddies playgrounds.

The tragedy is that poor old Tamsin was a 22 year-old blonde babe until she met the Gorgon Mucosa.

All those who gaze upon the Gorgon's smile are cursed. This photo was taken after just 5 minutes. The curse had aged her by at least 40 years. I fear she is not long for this world.

Heed this lesson! Should you ever be unlucky enough to meet the Gorgon, in that dread moment, remember. Never look directly at his smile!

Anonymous said...

@charcoal: Yep. ASDA white loaf was 17p until just recently. It is now 33p. Eggs are more than double in price from a year ago. Petrol up 10% since Christmas. A mortgage rate hike of just 1% will have put most peoples mortgage payments up by 20%. Apparently USB memory sticks have come down in price, so that's all right then. The average sheet metal worker buys loads of them! Meanwhile in the real world, people living hand to mouth are likely to find a 20% increase in the REAL cost of living will be enough to put them in Carey Street, and the people that will be hurting most will be those that have the smallest net disposable income - the very people that until recently voted Labour. Can't see them making that mistake again. Ever.

When the Tories get in, expect them to make a party political broadcast explaining in great detail how Labour have fucked the economy so bad that it will take decades to sort out or we will have to sell UK PLC to the Arabs. Next step will be to sell the BBC to Rupert Murdoch ostensibly to pay off some of the government debt. The tories will be in power for two generations, I shouldn't wonder.

Anonymous said...

Anon,

Labour will go in the next election, however the Tories will not be in power when Dave 'Boy Green' gets the keys to Number 10. The real government then as it is now will be the EU.

So let us fuck Gordon out of office as a start and then fuck him out his new trough at the EU, where he can join fellow arse bandit Mandy, by leaving it.
