+++ Bookies Slash Odds on Tory Majority to Evens +++

Punters have switched from expecting a hung parliament to a Tory majority after the general election. Smart money or over exuberance?

Depends how long we have to wait.

Personally I'd like a hung parliament - or more exactly, a hung Labour party.

Fuel taxes suspended for six months during a World Energy Crisis?
Bean economics can even be understood by the Nulabour voting underclass.
Snatch their hands off, any self respecting bookie will be odds-on before the day is out.

How can this be ?.... I am assured by the lightly cuprinoled Thunderbird puppet lookalike on the not at all biased BBC news 24 that the situation is 'still recoverable'

It is a sad fact that there are actually some people out there still prepared to get off their lardy asses and vote Labour. Millions of our own citizens prepared to make the effort to vote in favour of the worst government since the Duke of Wellington was PM.

Gorgon's statement this morning, "we are....expecting the (economic) upturn when it comes".

Or more likely your entire financial forecasts are based on the extremely unlikely event of this being a very short and shallow downturn. Anything else and the country's finances are completely fucked. I'd wish you luck, McBean, old chap, but by fuck you deserve everything that comes your way, you deviant shit.

Gordon, you are unpopular because of an illegal war, 200+ stealth tax increases, 10p tax bodge, petrol prices (2/3rds of which is tax), falling house prices, crap tv, a wet spring and the fact you eat boggies. But we quite like the fact you are an ugly fucker.

Can we all agree agree that from now on Hoon be officially known as 'Hearing-aid Hoon'?

Boris will lose it to fraud said...

I see official complaints have been made concerning ballot box seals being broken (and stuffed with votes for Ken?).

Not only postal voting fraud but interference with ballot boxes.

Fuck me, there may not that many death squads operating just yet but eloctorally speaking how can anyone say Britain isn't like Zimbabwe.

I guess there are many nervous people looking for non-jobs such as ‘Diversity advisors’ or some such nonsense in Polytechnics (now humorously called ‘Universities’) or other places of refuge today.

[Assuming, that is, they can spell such long words.]

Gordon will not go. History is littered with manics like him. The brown shirts will shelter him in his bunker until even they cannot drown out the roar of the electorate - Brown Be Gone taking your weasels with you.

It is hard in the real world, people are hurting and the last thing they want are mealy-mouthed, soul-less number crunching statistical lying shitters at the top. They have had enough.

Maggie T got the economy off its backside, knocked senseless by Labour and the unions. That is why Major won. Brown has simply daubed his face with grease, carried a fiscal spanner - he doesn't know what its for and claimed credit. He has been found out - BIG TIME!

Next, Gordons fourth relaunch. I thought you could only crap a turd once.

The problem for Labour is that when John Major suffered his council seat humiliation two years before he was thrown out of office we actually had an economy getting better. Gordon has an economy getting worse but with his popularity already in the gutter. Unless Labour call an election soon, they are finished as a political force in the UK. Two more years of REAL economic hardship and no-one will ever vote for them again.

Nu Lab can't win the next General Election. Not unless they rig the voting or step up immigration. Brown is utterly hated among the real working class (not the UNDER 'working' class in chav UK.)

The worst government in living memory. Sadly the worst opposition too - the Tories don't stand for me either I'm afraid and I don't think they'll do a thing to rescue Britain.

When will we realise that politics has been dragged so far to the left that the 'centre ground' everyone bangs on about is somewhere in the old East Germany ?

Just heard Ed What-a-load-of-Balls doing what he knows he does best on R4 - talking a-load-of-balls.

If Brown listens to him - bring on the election 'cos they are going down and out - BIG TIME.

Labour will split and there will be an historical adjustment back to Liberal Tory main parties. New Labour was clearly a Blair Brand - without the man himself New Labour simply ain't.

Look back to the early 1900's and the dissolution of the Gladstonian heritage.

Anyone for General Secretary now - position vacant?

Has anyone seen Quentin Davies recently? LOL!

I wonder who'll be the first to jump ship?
