Of course I agree. How else can you get perfectly fit young men to risk their life and limb fighting for no good reason. War and fighting is a normal part of a young males psychological make up, for better or worse. However remember it is not just the young men and over macho females that suffer and die during wars and violent international or national conflicts. Innocent ordinary citizens now days usually die in ratios of up to 100s/1 to members of any armed forces. Also it is the families and above all the wives and mothers that have to count the cost and bury their children and husbands. The damage gaining a callous attitude to death and human suffering in general is not good in the long term for the individual or the collective.
