Harman Backing Boris on Her Blog

Her website is also currently announcing her defection to the Conservatives. Guido thought it was a spoof site at first. In fact it appears she has been taking online security lessons from Grant Shapps. Her real website appears to have been "improved" overnight. Nice touch thanking Guido for knocking Hain out of the race...

This is the spoof site. They seem to be remarkably well informed about the hack of the real site. Maybe they swapped Harriet some chocolate for her password...

UPDATE 09.05 : Guido called Harman's parliamentary office for a comment. No answer. Well they do keep public sector hours so perhaps someone will get back to Guido before lunch. Meantime you can leave a comment, and many of you have already...

UPDATE 09.10 : The hacker has contacted Guido to tell him that the passwords have been changed. Harman is now locked out of her own website.

It is still showing the defection, as at 6.55. Lovely.

Mountjoy said...

Croydonian, you know Labour people won't be out of bed until later in the morning(apart from Gordon who never sleeps).

The real question is which Labour MP will really be the first to defect?

Thon Brocket said...

Still up at 7:33

Geordie Scoot said...

Mountjoy - in answer to your question, my money is on Quentin Davies - to the monster raving loony party. Dennis Skinner to the BNP is worth an each way punt. Plus, if things start to go very badly for nuliebour, await the reincarnation of Gordo McBroon as candidate for First Minister in the Scottish Parliament.

Hilarious way to start Friday morning - still up at 7:50am.

I think we should start sending Conservative Party membership forms to Labour MPs - you never know, with the current problems caused by Broon, some of them might well be tempted to fill them in and send off their £25 cheques...

I see her Wikipedia entry has been updated

She's probably seen the latest YouGov poll in the Telegraph.

"Standby for Incoming!" as Gordon throws yet another mobile at the wall(allegedly) shortly after rining Harriet to tell her to get her blog site properly protected against "hackers".

The Labour Party are ****ing useless. First they can't spell "excellence" and now the Deputy Leader can't afford a decent security package for her blog site. This lot couldn't run the proverbial "Whelk Stall"

Slackbladder said...

And it's still up...come on you toadies. I've already drunk 3 cups of espresso and shagged some hookers this morning...

drwho said...

The beauty is that she automagically lists the latest two blog posts on her main website (http://blog.harrietharman.org/) just below the link to her blog, so these articles are showing up there too.

Rog said...

... and still there @ 8:30!
Obviously a troubled woman.

Everyone got lots of nice screencaps for posterity?

When I said her main website I meant http://www.harrietharman.org/ of course. And they are still there.

Which part of nulab is the most utterly despicable, worthless champagne socialist twats like harperson, who in real life are incapable of running the proverbial whelk stall ( let alone a govt department or a web site ), or scots chancers on the make , like doran ?
hangthemallandletgodsortthemout , on balance has probably come up with the only practical solution to the nulab problem.

I can't believe this is still here - what time do these useless buggers get out of bed in the morning?

I wonder which of the papers will have this in tomorrow?

Hang on.....perhaps it's true? And thats while it's still there!!

If they haven't taken it down yet, it might have something to do with the fact that I changed all the admin passwords, heh heh!

They will have to pull the whole thing down to get it off, I'm sure. With any luck their web manager, who is based in Brussels amusingly, will be unavailable for a while.

And you men think women don't have a sense of humour!

Anonymous said...

Not Harriet this time but worth a mention, I think:-

'.....the country will never forgive us if we lurch from one opportunistic tax decision to another and retreat to the old short-termist ways of the past'

So saith G. Brown in his Brighton Conference speech, 25th Sept., 2000against a background of the flak created by his 75p per week OAP rise.

He did, however, agree to 'do more' within a few weeks to 'the benefit of all pensioners.

Plus ca change.

Does nobody in the Labour Party get up before 9.00am.I would have thought the NuLabour Black Ops Team would at least be checking out Guido and Iain Dale by now for Gordon's 6am briefing The "thing" is still up at 9.09am.

Somebody ring Harriet's mobile for God's Sake !

Oxbridge Prat said...

Now the sites have gone down...

Aardvark said...

At 9.15 the homepage of the main website - harrietharman.org - has been blocked but you can still access the rest of the site via the spoof page herein. She is obviously a member of the "Grant 1234 Shapps" club.

MisterE said...

Maybe she doesn't know it's a hoax, and is busy packing up her office for the big move...

I wouldn't credit her with the intelligence to tie her shoes, never mind work out how this cyber-space thingy works.

Anonymous said...

Out of interest what was the old Admin password?

Anonymous said...

Re Anonymous said 9.06....

So Gordon was scoring pretty highly on the ditherometer as long ago as 2000. No cause for surprise then that after 8 years he's such a master of the craft.

Anonymous said...

Aren't you concerned that the police will want to know the ip address of the poster who changed the passwords? technically, it's a crime, isn't it, and they could - and probably will - call the police?

Merl said...

what a perfect piece of news for a Friday morning.

I think it is a scandal. Suggesting the Tories would ever accept the Harridan as a member.

aint got a clue if this is true or not but i'd like to think so said...

'Aren't you concerned that the police will want to know the ip address of the poster who changed the passwords? technically, it's a crime, isn't it, and they could - and probably will - call the police?'

IP address is proof of nothing.

the comments are brilliant!!! what a bunch of clowns

I would say it is the perfect end to the perfect week for Bottler and his bunch of twats but there is still plenty of time left in the day to create another disaster or crisis.

Oh the delicious irony of being locked out of ones own computer system, what was it they are saying about ID card secuity again....

good enough to do this good enough to proxy their IP addy!

Thanks for drawing our attention to the defection Guido.

We have invited Mrs Harperson to join us campaigning for Boris in Beckenham High Street tomorrow morning. She should be able to find it as it is on the way to her son's old Bromley school.

Harriet is my MP, I wrote to her as the Council (Southwark) was taking over 10 months to assess my Housing Benefit (I'm disabled). I was borrowing from friends and family to pay my rent. Getting in to huge debt.

She wrote back to me saying "I cannot comment on individual cases"

Thanks for nothing love.

I'm longing to see her fall.

Broon's Talking Bawgie said...

Anonymous at 11.12, you need a Tory MP. When they refused me supplementary benefit (because I became a full time student and quit my day job to get through the pre-term reading list) Richard Page got right on their case for me and the buggers paid up in a heartbeat. Fine man.

peter carter-fuck said...

If this means I can't read the latest instalment of "Harriet in the High Street" I'll be really pissed off. The last one ended on a real cliff hanger, and I have to know what happens next. If anyone hasn't read it, do give it a try, it's better than Emmerdale.

no longer anonymous said...

Oh this is too good. She really does deserve it.

Anonymous said...

Re anonymous - Housing Benefit has to be paid within 14 days (its in the regulations - even if its an interim payment)

Go to the Local Government Ombudsman (I am ex-Housing Benefit Officer of 21 years!)

Rob said...

"I cannot comment on individual cases", the standard excuse of government. Of course, they comment on individual cases when it suits them. Quite how our media allow them to constantly get away with this egregious evasion is a mystery.

Anyway, well done to whoever was responsible for that non-violent direct action. The Left loves doing this sort of thing; it would be most churlish of them if they were to attempt a prosection of whoever was responsible.

At least it shouldn't be too difficult for the Police to track the perpetrator given the comments above.

If Harperson did leave Labour to join the Tories, the main effect would be to lower the tone in both places.

How could the bloody idiots of the BBC, after reading this article from Guido's blog, come up with this story:

"Last year, Conservative housing spokesman Grant Shapps was targeted by hackers who broke into his YouTube account to post a message under his name saying the party could not win the Ealing Southall by-election."
