Only this afternoon they sent out tens of thousands of emails calling on people to visit the site and get engaged. They have now taken down the website (so you won't be able to "add your voice") since ConservativeHome said it looked like a symbol of national socialism. Guido can't see it himself...

So, given this weekend's NATO meeting in Roumania (old, one-time, German ally) how many NATO Panzer divisions are built up on the Eastern borders with orders to roll over the border and head for Moscow, deep in the heart of mother Russia? Herr General Guderian, eat your heart out.
No wonder the Russians are edgy over NATOs intentions - I would be if I had been invaded 3 times in the last couple of centuries from the West; and this has little to do with Putin - he just reflects the general Russian unease.
Given the claims of the EU to prevent a further war by a tight social binding, then why not invite Russia to join the EU and NATO? That way we in Western Europe would have security of energy supply and the Russians would have security on their western borders for the first time in centuries. It's a win-win situation.
No doubt some Machievallian characters will not like this suggestion - but it would cut the Gordian knot of East-West tensions.
If only Gordon in his meeting with Putin would get Russia to join both the EU and NATO then many worries on both sides would be removed.
