Prescott Peacemaking Fears
The Council of Europe is for some unfathomable reason sending the disgraced former deputy-PM and pugilist John Prescott to Armenia: "John Prescott will assess the post-electoral situation and explore possibilities for defusing the current political crisis and promoting dialogue". Prescott promoting dialogue?Guido fears that he will only worsen the state of emergency. Armenian troops and protesters have already clashed leaving 8 dead and more than 100 injured. Perhaps Prescott will tell the government troops to use their fists instead of bullets. That is after all what he did with protesters when he was in government..

Armenia is a pretty unsophisticated place, the boy could do well there. (As long as he keeps his greasy paws off those peculiar 'Sworn Virgins')
Isn't it funny, when that fat, northern, vulgar shit got a slap from the mullet sporting bumpkin I felt it was a bit out of order. Now I think the carrot cruncher should have left him like Michael Watkins post Eubank.
The appointment of that fat fool to DPM was emblematic of Blair's contempt for Parliament and for Cabinet Govt.
Only Labour could produce and support a bufoon like Prescott.
When you don't answer questions and you label all critics - including octagenarians in hospital - as "racists, then I guess you become immune to the gasps of bewilderment when you place in a position of trust a lech who is manifestly untrustworthy and dishonourable.
I don't know much about Armenia, but I can't believe they deserve the World Croquet Champ (2004).
Well if Blair becomes president of the US of E then he won't have much time for the middle east. Maybe Prezza is practicing in Armenia before he gets sent to Gaza to sort that out.
Wakes up in a cold sweat - phew it was just a nightmare
Mr Backwoodsman,
I believe you are thinking of Albania (if it's the 'Sworn Virgins' that are playing on your mind?).
In choosing Mr Prescott for this role, the Council of Europe may be under the misapprehension that no English is spoken in the Caucasus. Or it could be that they are testing his suitability for the forthcoming European Presidency?
At least they didn`t say he was there to promote democracy, that would be ironic as he is helping to remove it from our country.
perhaps the EU wants to put troops there or do they have oil?
how long before world war 3?
Let's not forget that the 'innocent' protestor he punched had already thrown an egg at him.
No he shouldn't have hit him (even if he deserved it) but didn't Prescott's public ratings go up as a result?
I wonder if the fat fist-flailing fuckwit will be "travelling light" - without the good Mrs P?
If so, he will surely need an attractive "administrative assistant" to help with his "Armenian discussions?"
See, that cowboy suite came in handy
Prescott has extensive experience at breaking electoral law over here (e.g. referendum purdah in the North East in 2004), perhaps the Council of Europe believe it takes one to know one?
There are a lot of business opportunities in Armenia for a thrusting entrepreneur with no scruples. If the locals would like to lift themselves out of poverty Prescott has close connections with the Las Vegas casino community. If they would like to raze any property to the ground he has profitable links with the demolition community. And if the Armenians dream of living in congested, badly built flats and house with no outdoor space, designed to make large profits for Prescott's friends and relations, then he's just the man.
Prescott is now well and truly on the gravy train.
Next we will find Bliar as president and Brown as consort awaiting and plotting to depose him so he can take over.
Closely followed one-by-one by the rest of the shower from the front bench. Not content with total destruction of Britain they will now embark on Europe and show how well they can screw up any economy regardless of size.
Be great if the Lords chuck out the treaty and so stunting the cabinet's rise to Brussels.
This will doubtless be a precursor to the Pieman being appointed to some irrelevant but highly paid role in Europe. Blair and Prescott - the (bad) dream team returns?
He'll be great at promoting dialogue between otherwise hostile parties.
Admittedly the dialogue will go something like this:
"What did the fat man say?"
"I don't know."
"I thought you had an interpreter."
"I do, but he can't understand the lard ball either."
"He smells. I wish he'd go away."
"Me too, he keeps trying to mount my livestock."
"Perhaps if we pretend to like each other, he'll leave..."

gobbledegook.Confusion,to divide and conquer,no one knows they have been done.

Does Armenia have a specialist translation service? All of their English speakers will be unable to comprehend anything Prescott says.
Broon won't enjoy reading The Stun today, even G P-W shows signs that the party's over.
Gosh, It does sound a very dangerous and violent place. Excellent
As they said in Yes Prime Minister
"If he is successful, he will be a hero"
" If he goes and fails, at least he tried."
"And if he doesn't come back at all, he won't be missed "
"Eeh oop lad" Armenian dialects are probably easier for me to understand than "Tyke" dialogue will be for them!
Prescott sent to Armenia - indeed the third world war rolls closer.
Little wonder NuLabour voted for the European Constitution, it is where all failed Labour MPs go to milk the system for all they can.

And who is he taking along with him, or is she meeting him there?
"The Council of Europe is for some unfathomable reason sending the disgraced former deputy-PM and pugilist John Prescott to Armenia"
It's because it's a long way away...
Our elected representatives never fail to amaze me, they are grossly overpaid, overrated they bestow honours and privileges upon themselves, when truly found useless to represent the people of this country; they find cushy jobs aboard the gravy train that is Europe. Recently, and against their wishes we discover what amounts to huge Tax free expenses scams they legally award themselves, this on top of gold plated, inflation proof pensions. They continually lie to us taking us into illegal wars, and reneging on election promises. They think talking continuous spin impresses us; they never answer a direct question preferring to turn the tables with a question back. Then last night they get a chance to really make a difference to the future of this country with a vote for a referendum on a European Constitution or Lisbon treaty as it has become known, the ruling labour party decide to renege on their election promise and the Liberals talking rubbish leads to my conclusion that they have done some dirty backroom deal with this government. Much as I dislike the Tories for the vengeful social damage that Thatcher did in her years of power, I have to resign to the fact that they are the only party that stood by its election manifesto for a referendum on a European Constitution.
Guido, the traitor list should be fromnt page Guido headline.
With Prescott's well-known grasp of international affairs he'll obviously be a great asset to Armenia.
When he went to the States for talks with the Vice President and ranted on about the "Balklands" and "Kosava" the Americans must have thought he had discovered another continent they didn't know about!
As Bill Quango above says, it must be because if he doesn't come back he won't be missed.
Thousands of French protest peacefully against the EU involvement in Kossavo.

The protest was very friendly, family orientated, and the speakers were good however at the end of the protest the French police(Sarkozy`s EUSSR political puppets) charged and tear gassed the crowds. the police had charged and were beating up a demonstrator.
This is not the first time the EU police have been know for such brutal action, at another peaceful political protest recently in Brussles police beat up peaceful demonstraitors who wanted to preserve their culture.
The EU thought this fat, moronic, word-mangling wanker was the best man in Europe to send?
No, they are merely demonstrating clearly that all politicians who spout the EU line will be rewarded.
This is why they continue to drag us into the EU - it lines their pockets!
Bastards, and traitors.
Coals to Newcastle...he'll fit right in with the plague of smugly corrupt 'reformed' Communist politicians that still afflicts Armenia (like so many former Soviet imperial possessions).
I always love the edited newspeak version of the Prescott punch. Prescott gets egged, Prescott punches Mullet - film stops.
What actually happens is Prescott gets egged, Prescott punches Mullet, Mullet grabs the honourable member for Hull, Deputy Prime-minister goes down, Prescott looks jolly unhappy, Police intervene to save Prescott from kicking, and nick protestor but not Deputy Prime-minister.
A good clean left, with all that weight behind it and Mullet's still standing. No wonder Prezza gave up boxing for croquet.
John 'Prezza' Prescott, now theres a blokes, bloke.
Whenever the Socialist troops feel a bit weary, send in Prezza!
Top fucking drawer.
Whenever Prezza makes the news, watch eyes turn to the screen.
A peoples man. A mans man.
Total fucking hero. Top to bottom.
Weep you failing Tories.
Never mind though, you have Gove!
Gary
please people, stop calling him a tyke, and a Northerner; he's Welsh. Though the Welsh would probably call him a Scouser.
Given the level of electoral corruption in this country, how on earth can that fat cretin have any credibility at all?
Prescott does not need to travel to Armenia, here in his constituency it isn't difficult to find an eastern european voice.
Still he's had quite a few years training here in Hull. Will he be going to buy council houses on the cheap for his son to refurbish?
Pigs at the trough one and all.
internationn incident on the way.
New Labour rejects' gravy train continues.
I remember hearing that Norman Wisdom was the national hero of Armenia- why didn't they send him?Although he has Alzheimer's Disease now, which is sad, he would still be more effective than Fatty Arbuckle. And he would make them laugh which is a bonus.
I read above that Fatty A sat on his hands in the EU vote yesterday. Makes a change from his fat arse.
The protest was very friendly, family orientated, and the speakers were good however at the end of the protest the French police(Sarkozy`s EUSSR political puppets) charged and tear gassed the crowds. the police had charged and were beating up a demonstrator.
Sounds like London police, bashing up some Countryside Alliance tweedies but ignoring ranting muslims demonstrating against the so-called "cartoons" with their "Kill" placards.
Animal Farm, when the dogs appear and drag away dissenters and doubters at the meeting, remember ?
Robbie 1:44 - again, you're thinking of Albanians.
The man with the stupid hair (was it a wig?) who hit Prescott learned a valuable lesson. Never hit an old barsteward.
i also get pissed off by the people who fall for the fat cunts con. he is not from Yorkshire he was born in prestayn north wales the very place where he was thumped if I am not mistaken.
May sound a small point but it is all the fat cunts spin that he is from Hull

Simply love your style and delivery.
What a hoot! Pretending to be too thick to spell properly or even have the faintest idea of grammar.
I know you really are a Tory through and through so I have had a word with our next PM Dave. He agrees with my suggestion that you be kept for life on benefit for your services to ammuse.
Who knows, you may even be awarded a peerage, Lord of tabs, booze n giros?
Getting a dig in: 3:07 pm.
Fuck off cunt.
I normally charge for Socialist advice, but in this instance and this instance only, please top yourself.
Hope this helps.

Whoops I don't know my Armenia from my elbow. Why did you say again?
Anyway must dash - just off to Specsavers.

Because someone further up the thread confused Albania and Armenia as well.
Albania - Armenia. Does it matter where Prezza gets sent? As long as it far away from here.
If you want to annoy a Turk remind him of the Turks massacre of Armenians back in the early 20th Century. The Turks even have a law prohibiting anybody admitting this in Turkey. This is the country that EU lovers want to join next.

He is a Tory actually. Saw him in my club only the other week. Was talking about secret blogging and how he has a laugh getting the 'right' all rilled up , but it does bring out the left.
He set up that phoney Guardian wheeze about Boris being too right wing the other day too.
He is in fact Sir Gary Selsby of Stoke Poges, Buckinghamshire.
Sorry to out you Sir Gareth, but everyone had already guessed it anyway.
A bit too Looney Left I'm afraid , gave the game away.
You coming to the Hunt this weekend ?
Your valet said he was pressing your suit when I called earlier but wasn't sure if you were coming to mine or Lord Ashcrofts.
Fuck me Gary, I didn't know you were really a toff, or I'd have called you Sir, you Cunt.
You can fuck right off too Mr Quango.
I am a socialist, born a socialist and will go to a socialist heaven.
You snobs just don't get it, do ya!
We have children who can’t read or write, our Council unable to look after them. They drink alcohol from an early age. Earlier, if they can get it.
Is it because parent’s can’t read or write. Or hold down a job or be bothered to do anything except piss away the dole money?
It’s because you have all the money. Your kids are worth more than our kids. Your kids are better educated. QED
Jabba The Gut is still influenced by the sith.

Gary i think it is YOU who doesnt get it!
yes the toffs are cunts who only care for themselfs and sneer at the working classes who create most of their wealth, but the bigger cunts are the ones pretending to be on your side when they are in fact trying to destroy you and everything you stand for.
the socialists have been in power for 10 years and our kids cant even get a dentist, they come out of the socialist school system not being able to read and write but they know all about homosexual sex and human rights as theirs are being eroded by the `socialist` goverment.
anyone who is proud to be British and is proud of their traditional working class culture and values is regarded by the socialists as a biggot and a racist who needs enriching out of existance with ever more people flooding an overcrowded country so your `socialist` mates can pander to the global corporate giants who line their `socialist` pockets after being supplied by the `socialist` with cheap labour and a destruction of your culture and identity to make it easier for the `socialist` to sell you out to Europe for the giant global capitalists benefit, as services and wages reach the level of the Chinese. cant aford a house, why is that when our population was static, could it be the 5 million or so Labour voting people they have let in pushing up housing demand and hence prices?
you can go to socialist fucking heaven because sure as hell none of your so called `socialist` bastard MPs will want to be their to share it with you. they wouldnt even qualify with their gold plated pentions and multiple houses, yes multiple houses that YOUR `socialist bastard MPs all have. even the cunts who claim to be down with the people like Cruddass, all money grabbing cunts.
certainly not socialists.
while many of our children live in desparate poverty after 10 fucking years of a so called fucking socialist goverment.
now fuck off, wake up and talk sense, you are but a sheep who Labour and the other socialist are laughing at right now.
trust me they wont be eating baked beans every night, or too scared to put the fucking heating on.
now tell us again that you are a socialist that votes for a global coporate fascist goverment called Labour, just so we can ALL (working classes included) laugh at you.
cunt!
So Guido, what would *you* do if someone threw an egg in your face from close range? Hand him another?
Eight people died in Armenia. That's no laughing matter. If he's trying to stop more people dying, I say good for him.
Oh dear, looks like I hit a nerve ending.
How thoughtful of me.
I pondered on how to drive home into this nerve and cause more pain, after all, this is what I do for the socialist cause the best.
so here it is you tory wankers:
Referendum.
Lecture over, Tories humiliated and Liberals toyed with and discareded.
And you fuck ups want to run this Country.
Tsk tsk tsk...
Now please die quietly.
Gary
The only posible good this fat git could do is by sticking his arse in a dyke.

NOT celebrated, you fascist Nazi Labour cunt!

I re-ahlly don't see how that would help, dahling.
Surely the sight of JP waving a chipolata would sort out any situation? You cannot fight while laughing.
Perhaps he's going there to trouser payments from overturning planning decisions or to interview laptop public servants? A new Croydon, a slightly used but never-wanted dome, cowboy outfit (the missus preferred hair tongs)? Hear/see/do-no-evil lard bucket. Corrupt as hell. He never wore THAT uniform in public.
