Guido, this is a wind up isn't it? Don't tell me they managed to put Clegg's name instead of Brown in the headline.
Despite everything else this week, I cannot believe they have managed to screw this up as well.

Masterful!

Next week, the LibDems take over a brewery and hold a cake sale...

I can't work out whether this should read "Clegg has bottled it on Europe, says Brown" or "Brown has bottled it on Europe, says Clegg".

On second thoughts, it works either way. Who fucking cares? Pass the bottle.

Clegg is claiming that Cameron wants to leave the EU but does not have the guts to say so.

HMMM interesting.

Why would Cameron need guts. When the voting public either don't care very much or are more passionately against the EU then for it?

Why would it takes GUTS to leave the EU, when 95% of the Conservative Party membership in my experience and possibly as many as 75% of the British people, would be more the content to leave tomorrow?

Does Clegg, Cameron, and Brown, know something they are not telling us?

I very much think so.

ATLAS shrugged

"Would the last person to leave the Liberal Democrat Party please turn out the lights?"

When will we see defections from the LDs? And where will they go?

Tories? Perhaps. Labour? Out of the liar into the... Yeah. Right.

Greens? Perhaps. But Green Party members are so contentious they can argue with themselves.

The Liberal Party, maybe? Yes, it does still exist. sort of.

"A Preliminary Analysis of the Ministry of Justice Document:

'Statistics on Race and the Criminal Justice System - 2006'

Tony Shell

Summary of Findings

A preliminary analysis of official crime data shows:

The homicidal killing of white people is 90 times more prevalent in the black community, than the homicidal killing of black people in the white community.

The homicidal killing of white people is 30 times more prevalent in the Asian community, than the homicidal killing of Asian people in the white community.

The number of white victims of interracial homicide is approximately 40 times greater than expected, when compared to the number of such victims in the minority (BME)community.

The white community suffers more victims of interracial and racially motivated homicide than all of the minority (BME)communities put together – despite the BME communities being less than 10 per cent of the total population.

The number of white victims of racially motivated homicide is approximately 50 times greater than expected, when compared to the number of such victims in the minority (BME)community."

no Britain could never `lead` Europe, because Europe is led by an unelected shower of shit who lead Europe.

The only sense in which the UK could and does lead Europe is in the fact that its main role is to pay more billions of pounds in the pot than almost anyone to give away to failing countries in order to continue the imperialistic spread of Europe, eventually the whole of Europe will be piss poor as the result and will dominate much of the world until it runs out of cash and everyone is as piss poor as the piss poor countries that were encouraged to join.

Britain will never be well off again under Europe because it will ALWAYS be forced to pay to prop up failing corrupt states that produce and contribute next to nothing.

all we do is pay Europes fucking bills through our taxes! while they steal our democracy and our rights through the corruption of the political class.

it is over for the lib dems, they may as well cros the house while they can.

the lib dems do not have a traditional lib dem voter base to abuse, that will always prop them up. the lib dems are either a protest party for those who hate the other parties or they are seen as the soft nice party.

So always remember they have no traditional voting base, every lib dem voter is a floating voter.

now they have lost ALL credibility over Europe, no longer are they seen as the nice party or the protest vote party, it really is over for them.

most of them will be on the dole in another 2 years.

i myself used to support the liberal democrats many years back as i didnt agree with the left or right politics, both were vile. but now every party is a Liberal fascist party and the only thing that ever comes from the Lib dems is complete and utter raving bonkers, when not just plain liberal fascist evil dressed up in a smiley face.

BY BY Lib Dems, somehow i dont think anyone will mourn or notice you dissapeared up your own deluded arse.

So Clegg thank you for finally destroying this party of destructive liberal fascist values.

funny thing is, if you werent so completely utterly useless and evil a third way established pragmatic rather than dogma party had the potential to destroy the left and right, only a complete group of cunts who follow liberal fascist dogma could fuck that up.

What frightens me is this guy could actually hold the "balance of power" after the next election.

I not so sure about 'junior estate agent' - 'cack handed tea-boy' seems more appropriate.

I wouldn't even trust the useless cunt to make the tea. he'd probably manage to find a way to fuck that up.
there are two things about nick clegg:
1) he is a fucking liar.
2) he has a really whiny, annoying voice and the louder he speaks, the more annoying he becomes. when he is being interviewed or during debates in the commons, he has a tendency to sound as if he is begging.
he is a fucking terrible liar of a leader.
the lib dems really are fucked this time.

No, I think there is some mileage in the junior estate agent thingy..

Think about it, always slightly too pleased with himself, always with a slightly too impatient demeanour of a 'time is money' twit, and with an air of 'there is something I am not telling you about the state of this house's damp proof course, which I really don't want to have to lie about, as I might get rumbled, so pleeeeeaase don't ask too many tricky and searching questions..'

I suspect the word "clegg" will soon enter the language.

A right clegg could be something that doesn't work properly, or a person who looks alright, but ruins it as soon as they open their mouth.

To clegg it up could be to make a bigger mess of something than anyone thought possible.

A cleggy fart could be one that is unexpectedly wet and makes an uncomfortable mess in your pants.

Or perhaps it could be a collective noun, a clegg of useless, lying politicians.

Anonymous said...

Yes, that's what I reckon, Opus Dave Member, that it was a wince-making example of a Freudian slip.

Of course, the Liberals ought to be asking what's so liberal about supporting a centralised superstate?

As a piece of statistical analysis, Mr Shell's conclusions are worthless given that he does not demonstrate the method by which he arrives at them nor source the precise statistical data upon which the conclusions are based.

This would appear to be the section of the report which is most relevant to Mr Shell's claims:

Over this three-year period, the police reported to the Home Office 23 homicides where there was a known
racial motivation. Fourteen victims were White, six Asian and three Black. There were no current suspects
identified for two of the White victims. It is possible that other homicides recorded in this three-year period
and dealt with by the courts have been considered as being racially motivated.

In itself, this is a pitifully small sample from which to extrapolate such sweeping figures. Furthermore, given the self-acknowledged problem of institututional racism within the police force, it is highly probable that there are, in reality, many more racially motivated homicides which have not been investigated as such. Indeed, in the 'General Findings' at the head of the report, this instititionalized racism is clearly underlined by the following statement:

...analysis here shows that members of our Black
communities are seven times more likely than their White counterparts to be stopped and searched, three
and a half times more likely to be arrested, and six times more likely to be in prison.

Under the heading "Racist Incidents", the paragraph below illustrates the general situation with respect to the racial contrast between victim and offender:

There were also differences in the ethnicity of the offender for crimes experienced by white and BME
victims. Where the victim was White, the offender (or one of the offenders if there was more than one), was
White in 89% of crimes, Black in 10% of crimes, Asian in 6% and Chinese/Other in 3% of crimes. Where
the victim was from a BME group, the offender or one of the offenders was White in 63% of crimes, Black
in 37% of crimes, Asian in 18% and Chinese/Other in 5% of crimes. op. cit

Here is the dictionary definition of the word clegg:-
http://www.thefreedictionary.com/clegg
large swift fly the female of which sucks blood of various animals

(Otherwise a horsefly)

Somehow, this seems very apposite, doesn't it?

Clegg is a blood-sucking insect.

Yep. That'll do nicely!

Ah, so you are claiming that black people end up in prison for homicide only because the criminal justice system is racist. And that is why there are ten times as many black people in prison as there should be, according to their numbers in the wider community. There are just three small problems with this:-

1] Asians are not over-represented in the prison population. Therefore you would need to suppose a form of racism in the criminal justice system which only applied to people that were very black, and not those that are a bit brown.

2] The commital proceedings in a homicide case allow the defence lawyer to determine if the members of the jury are fit for service or not. This gives the defence a chance to weed out any racists.

3] The murder rate in Jamaica is 20 times higher than in the UK. The murder rate amongst blacks in the UK is lower than the murder rate in Jamaica. So presuming a direct cultural transfer from Jamaica to the UK with no interference from UK culture (i.e. a multicultural society that believe in "live and let live") you would actually expect MORE UK black people to be in gaol for murder than is the case at present.

Perhaps we should give up the daft business of seeking to blame everyone but the perpetrators of murder and instead seek to throw all murderers, regardless of colour, into gaol for a very long time. That could be to the benefit of all our decent citizens, black and white.

Now fuck off, and take your liberal-left nonsense with you.

Yesterday the flip-flopping face of the Liberal Democrats was exposed once again by Nick Clegg’s speech to their spring conference in Liverpool where he followed in the footsteps of Paddy Ashdown by saying that he would do no deals with either the Conservatives or Labour in the event of a hung parliament with a “shake up of the whole political system.”

Is this the same Nick Clegg who, alongside Bristol West MP Stephen Williams, attended a special two-day Parliamentary Away Day on 20th and 21st July 2007 at Henley Management Centre where internal documents passed on to the Sunday Telegraph show that it WAS decided that the Liberal Democrats would work in coalition with Labour or the Conservatives in the event of a hung parliament.

Funny how it was held at Henley Business School given that the principal, Chris Bones, happens to be the very person hand picked by Nick Clegg to head a new Party Reform Commission to look at all aspects of party organisation from structure to campaign capability.

Chris Bones is also Chair of the Oxford East Liberal Democrats and resident in the Cowley and Littlemore division and is married to fellow Oxfordshire County Councillor for Headington & Marston Gail Bones.

Has there been a change in policy recently or is this the Liberal Democrats showing once again how low they can fall when it comes to keeping their election promises as was proved by the recent debacle at Westminster over the Lisbon Treaty?

Personally, I think that young Clegg might have just dropped another clanger because the last time a Liberal Democrats Leader talked so openly about power sharing and the political system in 1992 the Conservatives won the subsequent General Election outright!

Because there are some kind of workings that cannot be shown, I cannot prove the police force's racism anymore than you can prove the racism of any particular juror.

In the 'Executive Summary' under the section entitled 'Prisons', the report makes the following statement:

The rate for people from Asian groups was
higher than for White persons but lower than that for the Mixed or Black groups i.e. 1.7 per 1,000
population

Asians ARE, therefore, over-represented, unless, of course, you are claiming that white people are UNDEREPRESENTED. A higher representation of black people in the prison system does not negate the possibility that Asians are also discriminated against eg. through high levels of stop and search. Racists stereotype black people as inherently violent and this accounts for the large number of convictions.

Finally, crime-levels in Jamaica (population approx. 2.5 million)are not representative of black people - it is a country where there is practically civil war raging between the corrupt aggressive authorities and resistant sections of the population. This 'cultural interference' cannot be ignored, nor can white people's historical 'cultural interference' in the former colonies which has led to black people immigrating to the UK. Your presumption that we are a "multicultural society that believe in "live and let live" is false.
