According to Jon Craig ,Treasurer of Her Majesty's Household, Nick Brown MP,is throwing his (considerable) weight at Kate Hoey and Frank Field over their Euro scepticism about Gordo's Lisbon Treaty sell out.
I can't see uber Royalists Hoey and Field being intimidated by this pompous Gordo Bully Boy.
Wendy says she was following the advice of the parliamentary Clerks. What she in fact asked them was a long the lines of: 'Did party leaders in previous leadership contests have to declare their election gifts/donations'. Of course they didn't because they didn't have any and so the clerks answer was "no". She is now trying to argue that this "no" meant that no-one has to declare donations/gifts for leadership campaigns which isn't what the clerks said. So, the clerks gave sound advice and she is misrepresenting them in order to create the lie that she followed advice. Nice bit of creative covering up a lie by misrepresentation. And then the cheek to use this misrepresentation as evidence of following advice. How could she follow advice when said advice had not been given before the deadline for declarations?
Does anyone know if the Scottish Labour Party operate a similar 15% levy on donations as the Labour Party have done?(Though strangely Gorgon Brown and Jon Cruddles have yet to make their contributions, according to the Electoral Commission register.)
I'd be mildly amused if both Parties had decided to not apply this to leadership campaigns. All animals are equal, but some are more equal than others and all that.
Anyhow, a solution to these donations rows is simple;
All donations are processed by the Electoral Commission, the money is only passed on once written proof of a donors eligibilty is provided by the donee, and the EC can be funded by a percentage fee on all donations.
An beaurocratic, centralised and nannying solution - I'm surprised they haven't jumped at the chance to set it up.
it's a great defence isn't it? but your honour, there are mitigating circumstances to this case. all the others are bent aswell. and don't forget m'lud that we have made such a balls up of the criminal justice system because we were so very busy dealing with other matters, such as filling our pockets with taxpayers' coins. and surely you must take into account that as a result of our negligence and dereliction of our duty to protect the public, there simply aren't enough cells for you to put us in. fucking hell, what a bunch of useless cunts! I think that despite this robust defence and these pleas for mercy the judge will still find wendy guilty if only for being such a fucking offensively ugly bastard.

Plus her conniving donors to her "phantom" election 'that never happened' campaign.

And the journos are not asking these questions.
Why?
How does that Doors song go again?
"When the party's over
Turn out the light
Turn out the light"
Hopefully the Labour Party are now well and truly over.
Someone go and turn the lights out at Millbank
There's an email doing the rounds of Westminster claiming that No.10 did receive that letter from Davis and there's evidence to prove it.
Gordon lying? Looks like he's bang to rights.

Follow the money Guido.
Check out Nick Kuenssberg's business connections and his party political actions as a public appointee. BIG questions.
Also brings you into the cosy world of the MSM with his daughter Laura a political reporter on the BBC.
Go for it!

Hey Guido has Hain settled his 15% levy due to the Labour party?
If not, why haven't they remove the whip from him?
PS
Has the Organ Grinder Morgan been gated by the PR Association...or is he being recycled in the SPINdryer?
Wendy gives UGLY a bad name.
One of your best clips yet. I'm a little surprised you survived taking a photo of that hole in her face.
