How is this LEGAL?

Wouldn't Joe Public be prosecuted?

Why are the police and the tax authorities so supine?

He is out for himself only, and cares nothing for the poor, whom he fleeces via the tax system...

You only gave him 2 pigs in shit, yet he is at least a 3 or even a double 3, due to his cabinet rank?

What is it with New Labourites, when it comes to Houses, money and selective memory?

Photoshopper said...

I read in the weekend press that Purnell reckons he looks like Steve McQueen.

Delusional, as well as a greedy little fucker.

Sadly it looks like this might be technically legal, if morally bankrupt. That's probably the best we can expect these days from the Labour shower of shit.

In today's Sun, Trevor Kavanagh signals their disenchantment with Brown....

"..BRACE yourselves ... It looks like we’re in for a rough ride.

The housing market is crashing around our ears. Jobs are drying up. Pay is on the slide.

Worse, we are almost totally unprotected against these chill winds because Gordon Brown has spent all our money.

As Chancellor, Mr Brown could have taught rogue bankers a thing or two.

Far from being prudent, he squandered untold billions without getting a decent return on our “investment”.

Indeed, he has lumbered us with a mountain of debt which may even mean higher taxes.

Don’t take my word for this. I’m no economist.

Just listen to the experts. And there are plenty around who say we have hit the skids.

America is already in recession, with unemployment up and house repossessions soaring. But while the impact in the USA is likely to be severe, prospects here are even grimmer...continues

Re the chief pig in shit, gorbalsmick
"A united front by the party leaders would prepare the ground to remove him, and over a dram, away from the media spotlight, the PM might be able to convince him that while he has served the House well [doh], the moment has come to think about spending more time with his family. Or rather, he should spend more time with his family that does not involve a subsidy from the taxpayer.

He has done very nicely with his family business: politics. The firm has cornered a significant share of the market. His son is the Labour member of the Scottish Parliament for Glasgow Springburn, the seat father has at Westminster. Mum and Dad live in style in the Palace of Westminster. Mary has spent more than £4,200 on taxis in the last four years to go shopping around London where she is accompanied by a member of the Commons staff. Please note that such shopping trips are "entirely in connection with household expenditure that supports the Speaker's duties".

She used to be on the payroll, too, until she retired "three or four years ago" according to a spokesman hired at public expense from Luther Pendragon, despite the Speaker having very nice press officers employed by the Commons authorities. His daughter, Mary, has worked for him for nine years and is paid to work 25 hours a week in his constituency office."

This is worth 10 pigs in shit awards!! He's King shit!!

No ifs, no buts....

The Photoshop incident may have been an insignificant pointer to the true nature of James Purnell.

Like Yvette Cooper, he must have skipped letures on moral philosophy and ethics when he did his PPE course at Oxford.

Bet Gordon's moral compass is in a spin.

Didn't The Eye claim that Brown's flat was allegedly purchased at a sum well below the normal market price? I don't think that he has ever issued a writ to get them to retract the story.

Guido keep your eye firmly on this man and his banker friend in case some BIG bungs happen to go their way as they may attempt to carve up our social security system and put the disabled into the hands of their very close business friends with the usual big fat bonuses that will surely follow, depending on how much misery they can inflict on the most vulnerable.

the national health system will be next - perhaps MR Branson will want a slice of that pie on the cheap?

Steal from the poor and needy to give to the stinking filthy and corrupt rich - It`s what New Labour do!

Maybe he's right. Could the nasty little fucker now have the decency to die of lung cancer too as soon as possible?

Wasn't Purnell alleged to have been in bed with the huge US gambling companies when they were bidding for the multi-million pound UK casino contracts?

The Yanks won many of them if I recall corectly.

Tameside Eye said...

I can tell you now that Purnell will not like this. Members of his staff including the supposedly straight and married male ones always remind us at council meetings that he was the fifth sexiest MP according to Sky News. Something they are pleased with.

Purnell doesn't have a bald patch, although his hair is receding and it tends to comb over a bit. He has feckin huge sideburns though.

Guido - this story about Gorgon's dodgy flat deal keeps swirling around - what's the dirt here?...

Brown bought a flat in December 1992 for £140K, this piece in the telegraph implied that he could have paid about £33,000 to £82,000 more.

In 2000 when the story broke, the flat could have been worth c.£350,000.

There's an answer to this homes allowance problem.

You get IBIS, Travellodge, Holiday Inn, Novotel or Sofitel etc to quote to build and run a 2* hotel for MPs to live in while they are called to London to do their work.

They are experts, they know their business, they would do an excellent job. The accomodation they provide is basic, but clean and comfortable.

And THAT's where the MPs stay when they are 'working' in Westminster.

No second home allowances, no mortgage/maintenance subsidies, no capital gains made at the expense of the taxpayer no taxation anomalies.

Easy really. I wonder why that never occurred to anybody?

This smug fuck has his fingers in all the pies.

Wont be long before he is finished after fucking over the social security system for his own gain.

How many millions of votes will this man cost labour, including his own seat - 5 million perhaps?

The final nail in the Labour coffin for decades if not ever? let`s hope so.
