Huck Me!

Guido is a bit hungover this morning. (Cuba Libre's topped off by Irish Coffees at 2 a.m. with cheese and port to follow - seemed like a good idea at the time). So you'll just have to make do with a girl in hot-pants and bra waving a gun, singing about Mike Huckabee over on GuyNews.TV.

reuters website is doing some sop feature with milliband where - you can 'pose your questions to the foreign secretary' -

"Foreign Secretary David Miliband has had his passport stamped many times since becoming Britain’s diplomatic voice last year.

He has had to deal with cooling relations with Russia and the threat of a British teacher being given 40 lashes for naming a teddy bear Mohammad in Sudan..." etc etc

lets make sure he does'nt get away too lightly...

Guido,

I was grieved to have missed you. However, I am cheered by the (remote) possibility of change for the better in Cuba. Let's hope once the old murderer Castro pops his clogs lefties will see the error of their ways?

Honestly Guido, a bit less on your diet. I had three pints of lager and a KFC last night but you don't hear me banging on about it.

Hope the info is of some use to those who know about these things.

I don't know much about the technical side of the internet but I do know that there are some very naughty people trying to suppress facts which are uncomfortable to them.

I have a headache, and I want to die. Cheers for your hospitality!

Same again when Kim Jong Il dies? Someone needs to open a North Korean bar - what exactly *is* the North Korean equivalent of Mojitos and the Buena Vista Social Club?

Off topic a bit:

I wonder how Mr Bean will oppose the SNP's call for an Independent Scotland when he has recognised Kosovo?

Also I hope we noticed how those seven EU countries that have not recognised Kosovo were descibed as a 'rag-tag bunch' in the Media, the implication being that they were getting in the way of the EU 'big boys'. So what is the future for little countries like Ireland after it recognises the EU constitution in its referendum?

Guido, drag your hungover, sorry ass back into the world. Labour and Snotgobbler are not getting any decent assets from Northern even bigger Crock. Granite, probably NuLabour shysters and new donors, have and are going to have more, of any decent mortgage book left.
The bloody Opposition didn't appear to have a clue. Dear Vince Cable blew Mrs (no) Balls out of the water and The Chamber. Bugger all in the news anywhere but here, about this last nail in our coffin.
What is going on. They must have known you were on a bender to shut it all up!!
WAKE UP GUIDO and ALBION!

Come on, you people must be gnawing your cuticles when you realize the US hasn't got the manpower to invade and they will have to leave Cuba to the Cubans. Oh well...

C'mon Guido. With NuLab launching a 'Bid to tackle sick-note culture' this is not the day to be calling the office with a hangover.

This Labour government is fast becoming one of the greatest contrarian indicators in the history of markets.

After selling gold at the bottom of the market, they buy an insolvent mortgage lender – Northern Rock - at the top of the housing market. Are they really this incompetent? Or is it that the taxpayers’ interests are low on their list of priorities? Whichever it is – and I suspect it’s the latter - history will give them greater notoriety than the shoeshine boy who convinced Joe Kennedy to sell out of the stock market just ahead of the 1929 crash, when he started giving him stock tips.

They’re a bit like a really badly run hedge fund. The fees they charge are extortionate, the performance they deliver is woeful, and investors can’t get their money out.

“It was the right decision and the right time for the right reasons,” said Gordon Brown. Yeah, right...

Dangermouse said...

However hungover you are Guido, you cannot feel nearly as sick as our great leader who appeared greatly discomfited in PMQs, particularly by the disclosure that half of Northern Crock's mortgages were owned by someone else.

Jeez Guido, you must have the constitution of an ox, or you're a lot younger than you look.

I had to dispense with port years ago when I discovered that its moreishness defeated willpower every time. I do hope you didn't lead the Hitch astray, him with his New Year's resolutions and all.

Have a good fry-up, that'll sort you out, one way or another.

Here we have New Labour it its deceiving, conning, spinning best. Front page of Torygraph:

Foreigners coming to Britain are to face a new "immigrant tax" under Government plans to try to make them help pay for the schools and hospitals they use, ministers are to announce.

So far so good.

Sources indicate that the additional levy could be set at 10 per cent of the visa fee - an additional £20 for the usual £200 visa granted to those wishing to stay in Britain longer than six months.

I appreciate that many of the twerps who dream up these ideas are a product of an education system which shuns anything that might stretch them, like adding and subtracting. But TWENTY FUCKING POUNDS? Even they must know it wouldn't cover the cost of administration, let alone generate a wad of cash for the NHS and schools.

All there, isn't it? Big headline, zero substance. Jacqui pretending to do something about immigration. Another excuse to inflate the state payroll and bag some more Labour voters.

Wankers all. Gotta go - something is welling up my gullet.
