I'm not a fan of this Government in any way, but maybe, just maybe, the laws are bad. Of course, the laws were introduced under Blair (= this Government because it is operating under the Blair mandate), but also given Osborne's apparent issues with getting the correct answer from officials, perhaps party funding legislation needs revision?

I work for a small firm and last year two polish lads knocked the door after a job They were given a short trial and taken on.They worked hard stayed late improved their English no end then went home.
Last week we tried to get a young lad from the job center to train up and what happens? TWO fucking jobs worths from the center turn up to interview us(for a couple of hours),They tell the kid if he ain't keen/happy to phone them and they will move him.

A Pakistani who is resident in this country has a vote by virtue of being a Commonwealth citizen. They are also entitled to join the Labour Party.
Home Office minister Tony McNulty said of the registration of donations "there is some time lag which they'll look into... but if the notion is that somehow some sort of wrongdoing then I think clearly there isn't".
If my Tax Return is late or "time lagged" would the Police Minister be so kind as to be part of my defence team.

Back-scratching or bad judgment? Sir David Arculus is a personal donor to Alan Johnson. Up to the mid-1990s Arculus was prepared to flirt with colourful people and it sometimes paid off very well in the creative/media sector. It is noticeable that since his 1997 departure, the empire which was EMAP has crumbled away. It is just possible that Arculus has pulled one of his periodic bloomers in backing Johnson; over the years he has talent spotted gifted managers but he has also obstinately hung on to some dogs.
Why he would pay out to a waste of space like Johnson? Will try to contact Arculus via O2 (his present billet) and ask, but there's no law against subsidizing bozos or showing bad judgment. After all, 24,000 Hull voters did it last election.

It is interesting to compare Johnson’s ferocious – and correct - attitude toward preventing an NHS director receiving a juicy payout when patients had been dying of filth, and the apparent lack of comment when a director appears to preside over a regime which sets out to fleece the customers. Admittedly, only one of these kills you, but they both stem from a ‘sod the customers’ attitude. Any MSM journalists looking for a story could try ringing the Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust in Kent and see whether they were eventually legally able to stop the payment to Rose Gibb, or if it was just a headline to make Johnson sound good. They might also ask the CPS if they have decided whether to prosecute her yet.
Perhaps she should have made more donations to the Party when she was earning well.
