Lobbyist Regulator to Investigate Morgan the Organ Further

The Spin Industry's APPC Management Committee (background here) has decided to consider and investigate the complaint against Morgan Allen Moore further. The Committee is looking for more information about the conduct of MAM and Morgan the Organ. Further evidence and consideration of specific charges under the APPC Code of Conduct will be considered at a meeting on February 4.

So you have another 24 hours to put in any further complaints...

Let's have some Labour sackings, Mr Brown! Or are you really as gutless as you seem?

Bewildered Brown allows Daring Dave to romp ahead in the opinion polls! (Oh, he will be.. just wait 'til the next figures are released!)

You could not make it up, could you?

East London Advertiser - Now MP Galloway goes for Mayor said...

LEFT-wing MP George Galloway is to run for election to the London Assembly, the Advertiser can reveal.

The group which is hoping to attract prominent Left wingers will be registered as an official party under a new name, suggesting the possible end of Respect.

Sources close to Galloway have told the Advertiser that the new party will be "more radical" than any other outfit currently on the London Assembly.

It will campaign on an anti-privatisation, anti-Islamophobia and pro-trade unionist platform

Caroline Flint lost Labour a load more friends and a lot more votes, sneering, hissing, and spitting like some deranged fishwife on the Daily Politics.

She really is a nasty piece of work and is beginning to resemble a cross between jet-black dyed-hair Morticia, and a bulldog chewing a wasp.

How the hell did she get so far?

I'm backing Obama anyway, but having discovered that Sleazy Steve/Morgan the Organ is working for The Clintons (stuffing envelopes - brown ones, with cash, probably), my support for Obama is redoubled.

Wouldn't be surprised if Morgan was behind their snide racist campaigning, either.

The blog on the Jasper corruption story being spiked at midnight by the editor of the FT is a good one. What the hell is that all about? Why are the MSM spiking the Ken/Grasper stories? Why don't we see the Ken/Grasper story in any of the MSM?

Why was it left to Guido to turn Hain over? Why wasn't the Tory press involved? Why has the MSM turned on Guido?

I have two theories:-

1] The MSM has seen the writing on the wall re. the econimic disaster heading this way and want Labour in power when it happens. This will destroy Labours core vote. Polly Toynbee et al have realised this and are now desparately calling for a tactical retreat in the hope that Labour can escape some of the blame and keep the core vote intact. The Tory press, meanwhile, are actually propping Gordon up for as long as possible because the big prize for the Right is when Labour is totally destroyed by its own economic incompetence.

2] Labour has no intention of stepping down from power in 2010. They have infiltrated the MSM to such a level they can now spread whatever propaganda they wish. ID Cards and associated database will be introduced in 2008 and use to track the movements and contacts of all of us. A state of emergency will be declared before 2010 using the Civil Contingencies Act and detractors and anti-government demonstrators will be labelled as terrorists under the Terrorism Act.

Anybody got any other theories?

Sleaze, Guido - dishonesty or corruption: corruption, dishonesty, or scandal, especially among public figures such as politicians, Encarta dictionary - does not do justice, so to speak, to these horrible and right horrible bastards.

This is not just spivvery or sleaze, a noun associated primarily and astomishingly with reptile politicians; this is crime, plain and simple, crime. They are criminals. Why should these offences be known by a soubriquet?

Joe fucking Bloggs, down the Crown Court, is not charged with being sleazy, he’s charged with theft and deception, called a right fucking thieving bastard and the more senior his position in society the more porridge he gets to eat. No point saying Fuck me, Judge, I was ever so busy, Fuck me, Judge, I’m blind and an orphan. Judge’ll just say I don’t give a fuck you are a thieving fucking bastard and I would be failing in my duty to the public if I didn’t put you in fucking jail. Take this cunt down. Why are this lot any different ?

These are not matters of oversight or maladministration; these are deliberate, sustained, widespread, criminal conspiracies and even should there be a handful not involved they are guilty by their silence as are the skulking jackals like White and Toilets Maguire and Polly Mascara, that whole nauseating crew, that dire, cankerous, self-annointed priesthood of the fucking lobby, what a bunch of cunts, who know about all this shit and pretend it doesn’t happen, because they, too, get their wee freebies and best of all, they get privileged access to a worthless, whispering, gossiping, poisonous bunch of miscreants, just as long as everything remains on terms of no names, no pack drill, all men of the world, chaps, three wise monkeys. These arseholes, these accessories, these handmaidens to the criminal plundering of the taxpayers’ money, Toilets and Kneepads and that utterly, unspeakably worthless pompous git, Riddell - if Murdoch is paying that clown a fiver a week it’s five pounds fifty too much - are all, by association, as guilty as sin.

It’s worse in Scotland. Whatever happens here, Ian McWhirter, of the Jock Herald, maintains that career politicians are mostly decent, hardworking people, in it for the public good, like former Labour first minister, Thieving Henry McLeish, allowed to retire on a meagre thirty five grand a year, for life, after, "mistakenly" fiddling his office expenses; like former Tory leader and pretend lawyer, David McLetchie, who could not, despite his personal brilliance, distinguish between taxpayers’ money and his own; like McLeish, not prosecuted of course, paid a bigger price than any mere mortal though, resigned as leader, although the thieving smirking sermonising cunt remains as a part-time MSP on a full salary whilst doing more lucrative things in the courts. First Minister Salmond draws a salary as an MSP, as First Minister and sits (or doesn’t) as a Westminster MP. As well as being Lavendar King of Hiberenia he holds this further responsible position in London which, on the face of it, no mere mortal could reasonably combine with his Monarchical duty. Nobody says Boo.

Wendy Alexander, although reviled as Satchmo by ruffians among the public, remains to be firmly challenged by most of the media; BBC Newsnight Scotland pits her apologists against their local version of Andy Blowjob Marr, one Glenn Campbell. Former Labour first minister Jack McConnell and the BBCs grunting hunchbank transsexual, Mr Kirsty Wark escape censure not only for their joint holidays but for the stupendous budget overrun on the hideous Edinburgh Palace of Vanities, what started at a fifty million pounds project finished, under the stewardship of Wark, McConnell and the oily boy abortionist, Steel, costing half a billion; used to the mad extravagance of the the license-payer, Wark was firm in her judgement that money should be no object. Wark’s partner, Brian Clements, a media shyster, was recently described by a High Court judge as a deeply dishonourable man, proper NewLabour media millionaire, then.

As long as we speak their language of oversight and regrettable cock-up, I apologise to honourable (fuck me, honourable?) members; I will co-operate with the authorities (as if the obnoxious Hain has any more choice in that matter than any other citizen), as long as they can define the terms they are in command, spinning and lying and dissembling is what they do; it is, miserable, worthless bastards, their only accomplishment, as long as we call it anything but crime, they will continue to spray shit in our faces.

The legislature of the United Kingdom is rotten; it wages illegal bandit military adventures, betrays our soldiers, neglects our elderly, harangues our sick and diabled steals our pension, sells our gold, abandons our sovereignty, our identity; imbeciles like Jacqui Smith and Sir Ian Bendover at the Met trample all over our freedoms and as if that’s not enough they, personally, rob us blind at every opportunity showering themselves with stolen money, with honours and pensions and quango sinecures. Not one of these bastards could stand proper scrutiny.

So many - outside the tiny, twittering Guardian/BBC constituency of a few million pampered souls - know this so well that the idea of the house of commons, of all places, being tough on crime, - Blunkett ????- hysterically, shockingly, appallingly funny.

Sleaze is their own term, Guido, insulting and all, but not quite the same as the real thing. We should ditch sleaze, this is crime. Criminals are not supposed to get pensioned off to the House of Lords, or have the whip withdrawn, criminals are supposed to go to jail. Hain, Conway and whoever else emerges should be suspended from the legislature and stand trial, like anyone else.

Why are the MSM spiking Ken/Grasper stories? asks Real Schadenfreud. Because most of them are Evening Standard exclusives with Gilligan holding most of the evidence. The Daily Wail has made something of these stories, being part of the same Associated Newspapers group. The other centre-right press - Torygraph and Excess in particular - would probably like to run them but are afraid of being sued. Their only defence would be they regurgitated someone else's story.

That's how it works.

As I've observed before, Guido gets away with it because he's a) penniless and not worth suing; b) reckless; c) often right.

Anonymous said...

@bogeyman: Wrong. They are entirely at liberty to repeat the allegations of the Evening Standard on the basis that they are allegations. If they make that clear then the rest of the MSM is in the clear, in much the same way as a paper can say "there have been allegations made in the past that Prince charles is a homosexual" and get away with it. They aren't asserting that Prince charles is a homosexual, they are merely referring to the fact that some have alleged that he is.

This thread draws out an interesting theme. The MSM are not mere bystanders in all this, they are clearly COMPLICIT in the criminal activity. They are guilty, AT THE MINIMUM, of serial sins of omission and, much more likely of real sins of commission on a grand scale. Our political 4th estate has actually helped the political "elite" (excuse me while I vomit uncontrollably) to reach this position of filthy, underhand, low-life exploitation of the very people they so glibly pretend to serve. Fuck'em, fuck'em all!! They disgust me to the very depths of my soul the evil, two faced, moronic, interfering, criminal bastard bastards!!

Dear Mr Thick as Thieves

Re home of the brave

Yes but it is grim though, innit. There's Hillary Trout Mask, heroine of the unlaundered sperm wars, and spouse to Executioner Bill; Codger McCain of Vietnam and the Rambo films and this smarmy Uncle Tom, Obamalamadingdong, a man as black as the great ethnic leader and figurehead Trevor Phillips; or the bejewelled and plumed Governor General of All Africa, wotsisname, that mouthy little turd in the suits, Boateng, yes, of black power fame; him and Lady Diane Abbot of the Caribbean, famed for their socialist principles; it is hard, sadly, to think of a prominent black figure in British politics either who is not sucking the Establishment knob.

There was Bill Morris, the union guy - whom Mr Jack Harman, NewLabour's blind, deaf and innumerate treasurer tried, unsuccessfully, to unseat - he stayed kinda black but eventually became a House of Lords Blairite cipher. And I can't think of any more who aren't, in everything bar skin pigment, as white as can be; that's not assimilation, that's betrayal, innit, on an Abbott scale ? There's nobody in the House of Commons like the wonderful Mr Benjamin Zephania, for instance, to represent UK black culture; they are all fucking career robots in suits and cufflinks.

And as for Abbott, she misses the irony every time she claims that Hackney is the biggest shithole in Europe, with dreadful problems of housing and poverty and crime and disadvantage; this useless Rentagob has been the fucking MP for twenty years; whats she been doing apart from going on tv and writing in the rags, taking holidays, getting the brat a private education - doubtless to join the family firm and rule over us - and getting herself pissed at the taxpayers' expense on Jock Neil's miserable excuse of a show.

Obamalama is another version of Abbott, expect no more from him that you do from her. It will be the least of several evils if he gets elected over the Clinton gang but he is corporate USA, just like them, a career politician who, like Abbott, performs the extraordinarily prestidiigitatious act of claiming to speak for the black poor, whilst shitting in their faces from the other side of the TV screen.

Rally round the flag Y'all and God bless America

re political parties

Yes but the whole idea of a political "career" is, as far as integrity and objectivity are concerned, oxymoronic. If we remove the four-yearly festival of competitive promising and enlist, say, four hundred individuals off the electoral roll to sit as senators for a once-only fixed term on an average salary with appropriate expenses and compensation for the formerly highly paid we would have a broad spectrum of skill and experience and character among people who had actually worked for a living and not, like Douglas Alexander and Charles Kennedy and many others, just studied to be career politicians. And drunks. And crooks.

There would need to be no superfluity of lawyers, of course, and an annual turnover of, say, twenty per cent out and a new twenty per cent in. No Spads. That's what the civil service is for and, importantly, a circular chamber, not this Civil War bollocks of 2 swords' lengths separation and serried ranks of drunken, braying tossers. What a pantomime.

Writing in the Jocksman a while back, George Kerevan damned the whole political parties structure as a bunch of lumbering dinosaurs, utterly outdated, clinging desperately to some fatuous raison d'etre, impudently using their own unregulated larceny as a reason for us not only paying their parliamentary monies but also funding their imbecilic propaganda. He was right. And you are right.

We need a responsible, civic legislature, not a career structure for thieves and layabouts. It should come from the people and be regulated by the people; it should be seen as a duty and not a gravy train. Are we so downtrodden, so anaesthetized by tripe on the TV, so misinformed by Toilets Maguire & Co, so barracked, harangued and bullied by the deeply flawed and obnoxious Gordon Brown that we cannot ourselves, figure out a way to organise things ? How could any fresh arrangement we devised be any worse that this one ? Could a decent plumber, say, do any worse for us than the lifetime freeloader Mr Conway, the oily bastard Vaz or the gibbering fuckwit visionary, Brown ?

In the absence of a proper restructuring of democracy your advice to elect only independent MPs is the next best thing. Well said.

thick as thieves said...

I see. the franchise could be retained through local council elections. if the councils were allowed more leeway term wise and councillors could stand for, say, two terms that would prevent too much change locally and apart from that difference the senate's principles and design could be made constant in both places. I suppose there's really no point voting nationally and locally anyway.
so that leaves the issues of sovereignty and the separation of power. she's done a great job and all that but all things must pass and sovereignty would need to lie with the senate for such a democracy to function.
so that makes things quite straightforward. local councillors, council chiefs and police chiefs could stand twice. if they wanted that second term they would have to perform. am I being too miserly? perhaps but the requirement is accountability and citizen involvement in the process.
and then we have the judiciary. it could be argued that it takes a long time to learn and apply the law but ofcourse that depends on how complex the law is in the first place. that would need to be addressed but I'm not bright enough to consider that one, I'm just a politics guy.
so, local courts and a national court or courts for commercial law, appeals, and to ensure local councils and the senate do not abuse their powers.
or something like that.
what have I missed, ah, prisons and the military, well, I'll have to think about those because the military goes right to the heart of the sovereignty issue. but voting in independents would certainly take us one step closer to a more pure form of democracy than the complete farce we are suffering under now.

Anonymous said...

I've given up with democracy. I think it would be far better to split the state into its component parts and leave each component part to run itself. A committee would then be appointed to oversee the running of each department, with the committee chosen on much the same basis as a jury. Certain minimum educational standards and "good character" would apply.

Imagine how this would work in the NHS. It would be left to run by itself but a committee of 12 members would oversee its working. 4 members could come from the patients, 4 from the NHS staff and 4 members chosen at random from the general public. This committee would be chosen every 5 years. If it was felt that the NHS needed more cash then it would be put to a referendum of the public after the BoE (another body overseen in the same way) had decided if the increase in public spending suggested could be funded by the economy.

No more endemic corruption, no more "establishment", no more nepotism, no more cronyism, no more dodgy lobbys.

stanislav said...

TAT and anonymous. Thanks both.

It's odd, isn't it, that to say no to parliamentary political party democracy is like saying you're a nonce; or a NATO General Secretary, or a Manchester MP

It is arguable, though, that jury service is infinitely more important than the brief, parliamentary work of most in Westminster - our friend, for instance, mr jerry hayes; yet we do not seek a pool of professional, careerist, partisan jurors on salary and expenses and pension and a sty close to the trough.

On deadly serious matters of fact and evidence and expert opinion and on the reputation and liberty of a fellow citizen and on the likelihood of wrong suffered by victims, twelve people from the electoral roll - with professional advice, which they may accept or reject, from a Judge - daily deliberate responsibly and in most cases correctly and on matters far more grievous than some of those which occupy the thoughts, such as they are, of, for instance, Ms Caroline Flint, Ms Ruth Man Kelly or the zombie android, Alexander.

Many in MediaMinster, of course, the buffoon, Smith and simpering Jack Straw among them, but probably most everybody there would restrict jury trials, and then restrict them some more until trial (and automatic acquittal) by one's peers would happen only in parliament, where people, like Mr Conway and Mr Hain, are blameless, by virtue of the fact that they say so among themselves.

As the extent of cross party criminality at last emerges into the mainstream it does seem an extraordinary proposal that the culprits can reform themselves, yet it is continually paraded before us, as is the sincere proposal that since their memberships are too minuscule to raise a few quid, and since they themselves are morally incapable of raising funds elsewhere, the only proper course, in order to preserve this farce of parliamentary democracy is for them to assume, on our behalf, that we simply cannot do without Flashman and Nancy and that worthless, boring, nonentity currently at the head of the toilets party and that we must, therefore, like good, compliant children give up some of our pocket money in order that the grown-ps can continue to molest us. Black comedy, this; if this thievery, deception, money-laundering, war-mongering and buggery is democracy then let's for fucks sake be done with and work out something else.

less thick than thieves said...

or perhaps I am just getting hung up on this franchise thing.
in its purest form, enlisting local councillors, council chiefs from councils and police chiefs from the police would theoretically be the best way and as that could be voluntary enlistment people need not be forced to participate should they have other duties to attend to.
and it is important that the principles are constant throughout to prevent confusion and abuse of power.
such change would have to be staged and yes, I suppose the franchise would eventually, when everything is up and running, become redundant.
you see the bastards have even barracked me to a degree and I don't even have a tv!
thanks for setting me straight,
nice one stanislav.

thick as thieves said...

stanislav,
on a final note concerning reform.
politicians reforming themselves is ofcourse an absurd concept, on par with a murderer in court being in charge of the evidence of both sides and then deciding upon that evidence, a completely surreal and ridiculous proposition.
but considering that government is, in the final analysis, a matter of trust, it comes as no surprise that such moral inversion occurs. in that the less trustworthy they become, the less they are willing to trust us, for they have so much to hide. so their strategy and it is quite deliberate on their part, is to put us under suspicion so that they can position themselves as the accusers and we are cast in the role of the criminal. the truth ofcourse being the complete opposite.
and therein lies their downfall.
the way they are going trust will soon run out and as they cannot escape the fact that government is based on trust they will then really be in the shit. indeed the new labour party for example is already up to its neck in it and as much as they desperately pretend otherwise, the stench reaching their politically correct nostrils must by now be quite unbearable.
natural political justice, good innit.
