Hain's Story is Unravelling

Let's tell it like it is, the Progressive Policies Forum is a slush fund. It has done nothing, has undertaken no known political activity, has no employees, no policies and there was no forum or indeed any meeting ever. When it quacks like a slush fund, acts like a slush fund and washes money like a slush fund, it is a slush fund.

The BBC is reporting that funds came into PPF and were transferred out on the same day - suggesting it was a purely a money laundering operation set-up by his own campaign treasurer. Hain has been pushing the "it was my incompetence" line, this makes it look like deliberate obfuscation...

Were you ever in any doubt Guido? The man is a self-serving opportunist first and last, with Nu-Lab's usual contempt for the laws of the land.
One of the nastiest pieces of work seen in public life in a generation.

I hope he stays in government. the damage done to NuLiebour by the constant drip of sleaze will prove fatal. GBs relaunch has been derailed by this scandal, we still have watt and harman to come and they are 10% behind in the polls. goodnight scumbags

I wonder if we will see an appearance of those three little words that will bring joy to us all in the Sunday paper reviews tonight in connection with the Peter Hain story, namely..

'Further Damaging Revelations..',

Oh Please let there be 'F.D.R..' in at least one of tomorrow's Sunday Sleazoids...

Mr Morgan suggested he was appointed to “bring order to the chaos”. Mr Morgan’s “order” apparently did not include declaring his own £5,000 contribution to the campaign, only made public 24 hours ago.

Merde!

what's the official tax position for a leadership campaign then? Anybody know? And do the accounts have to be audited?

And what about this fake think tank, is that tax exempt or what?

Sorry to be boring, but I'm curious.

The PPF's offices were set up at a law firm which had previously set up shell companies for Steven Morgan. Is he the man who set it up?

I am grateful to Mr Fawkes for solving the conundrum of why my recent brown envelopes have had "With thanks from the PPF" on the back. Mystery solved!

Simple question to be put to the slush fund's sole director by the Electoral Commission. 'Who authorised the transfer to The Orange One's personal slush fund, sorry expired deputy leadership campaign?

Oh sorry, the sole director is a solicitor and so is incapable of telling the truth.

Well according to 5 live at 13.04 the big story is "Harry's staying at Pompey",so what's all the fuss about Hain?

Will this be a 'I'm standing down so that I can focus all my efforts on clearing my name..' kinda touch..?

We await with bated breath...

Hain's statement delayed until 2.30pm. Not a good sign...

Statement delayed until 'tooth-hurtee' !!

Perhaps Gordon is finding it like 'pulling teeth' to get Peter Hain to do the decent thing with the pearl handled revolver !!

Rumours suggest that two of the donors to the PPF did not know their cash would be used towards Mr Hain's deputy leadership campaign.

Apologies if not news or useful.

Methinks comfy socks is drinking far too much of that Co-op rum for his own good. He won't be crowing when he gets refused medical treatment for failing to follow a 'healthy lifestyle' after going to the quack with a boil on his arse - shouldn't he be out jogging or something? Isn't that what Zanulab loyalist are supposed to do?

Money Laundering has 3 stages

PLACEMENT - money is donated to a NON political party, such as a think tank.

LAYERING - money is turned into think tank funding and the money i scrubbed clean of the donors names.

INTEGRATION - money or benefits are paid to Gordon Brown as think tank money.

Gordon "Crooked" Brown - hoisted by his own money laundering rules.

If the self serving orange faced Hain in the arse goes, will it be a record for the early loss of a cabinet minister in a modern admistration?

Something for Brown to be proud of at last?

If its money in and money out, then the bankers to PPF should have been alerted and made a report as to possible money laundering. They have statutory requirement in this respect.
Did they?
Did they in fact query the conduct of the account with PPF, their customers and what assurances where they given?
Methinks the bankers to PPF need to be put on a rack. Wasn't Co-Op Bank by any chance?

No wonder HairPerson has made the spurious announcement about reducing voting age to 16, it gets Hain and all the questionable money transactions of the front page.....hopefully.

Hain's excuses remind me of the episode of Blackadder where he tries to explain away the drunken reveller's exclamation of "Great Booze Up!" to his puritannical aunt.

Give him some credit for initiative and thinking on his feet I suppose. Not sure I believe a word of it, mind.

Bristol dirt bag - paid trolls don'r work weekends, he'll be down the Co-op laying in supplies to fire up his over-worked imagination about how a wonderful government is leading the way to sunlit uplands. The cunt.

BTW comfy socks and co-op rum, aka pensioners vote labour, ten more years, etc, is none other than our old friend Mike, a gentleman in his sixties who posts meaningless insulting drivel because, to quote his own words, "I'm old and it passes the time".

Slush, slush, whisper who dares:
Tango-faced Peter is saying his prayers.
Gordon is raging, tearing his hairs:
"We're deep in the Brown stuff, worse than the Blairs!"
Tony is laughing, freed from his cares,
Earning a crust in banking affairs.

A Labour think-tank that does no thinking - but causes Labour to tank!

Can we now please bring the super-trouper spotlights out - and point them at the Sith Institute, please?

Isnt "labour think tank" an oxymoron?

This lot get worse every day nothing at all bothers em there is no honor and no consequences we are truly fucked.

anon @ 4.32 - Mike a gentleman?? I think not - no gentleman could support the likes of the snot-gobbler, and the Orange Houdini. No, just another ZaNuLab arselicker with his hand in the taxpayer's purse.

To quote the Ministry of Work & Pensions current campaign:

"No Ifs, No Buts, Benefit fraud is a crime"

Do you think "Oh, I forgot to tell the social I was working so shouldn't be claiming income support, I'm such a silly billy" would cut it with the Fraud Investigators?

His defence is ignorance. except that's mitigation, not a defence. And his mitigation is that he's too busy to actually check what his subordinates do in his name. Doesn't make you worry about his Cabinet work, does it?

"oh, is Scotland independent - someone else must have let them go. I was too busy. Sorry."

Man breaks law. Man should go down.

Just think how well this sleazily raised funding succeeded in influencing the Deputy Leadership bid by this diamond geezer. Who thought he stood any chance at all? Fifth out of a field of six looks like a piss-take to me. I'd ask for my money back as he was obviously a lame outsider.

News update: the orange log floating in my toilet bowl is still refusing to budge, despite attack with a shiny new Tesco brush. The bush still has my full confidence. Will try again at 2.30.

Will Hain's fake tan quarantee a nice finish? Just a thought.
