Ed Balls was spinning happily away on the Andrew Marr show when all of a sudden the blink rate went into overdrive when he was asked about the bottled election. Marr asked him had he told Brown to raise his game, Ed said words to the effect "of course not", Marr retorted "shouldn't you?", Ed started mumbling. For Andy Marr, this constitutes an all out attack. Mrs Marr's articles in the Guardian are less than adulatory of late. Are they disappointed?

How can you say that Andrew Marr is biased... he'll have any New Labour shit head on his show, and give them the lightest questions you can think of, leaving out the real pressing issues, just like he did today with (no) Balls.

This is an outrage
Until last week Brown deliberately prevented that film of the five British hostages in Iraq being released and he has kept the issue out of the public eye until now in case it became a cause of embarrassment for the government.
The film was finally released last week and Brown is now pretending to address the issue in a cynical ploy to try to divert attention from his growing problems. In reality though he is doing nothing to secure their release.
There are no depths to which Brown won't sink to try to save his own miserable skin.

well i tried to watch andrew marr being a public servant working public broadcasting, and he did seem to give each view a fair shot , but he still looks caught out , thats the trouble with being the brains of an outfit , when the glamour cover fails people start to look for the intellectuals.
basically i dont think Marr is capable of being independent , too many gilt framed photos of chairman meo and chav cavara, is there such a thing as perfect socialism ?? the red despot spotter thinks not , always permanent revolution and building of things to justify it whilst the commisars look on tucking into what they think there position deserves.

I`ve given up watching Marr on a Sunday, his blatant political bias is nauseating. As for Binky Balls, I too, could put my foot through the TV when he appears.

I wish I could find a link to Balls being harpooned by Brillo on "education, education, education". The Spherical One was wriggling like a worm in a jar. Thanks, RobbieRotten. It seems the Beeb scissors have been at work since I last saw it. I remember him saying performance in primary schools has improved dramatically. That's gone, but some gems remain.
The one I like best is when he's asked why so many more parents are sending their kids to private school.
