Ronnie : Cameron Backs Entrepreneurs & Social Investment

Gordon will have bitten his nails to the quick after reading the Guardian this morning. Ronnie Cohen praises Cameron and criticises government policy - this from the man who has in the past given Labour £1.8m.

Asked what has gone wrong for Gordon, he is quoted as saying "All of a sudden what looked like a one-horse race is now a two-horse race."

How does Ronnie feel about David Cameron becoming the next PM? "I am a businessman who supports a political party for two reasons: whether it supports entrepreneurship and social investment. If you said to me today, am I concerned about the possibility that a Conservative government would come back in and overturn the entrepreneurial system that we've worked so hard to do or seriously break the growth of social investment, I'd say no." So Ronnie is now a swing voter.

Ronnie, who founded venture capitalists Apax Partners, doesn't think much of Darling's back-of-an-envelope plan to hike capital gains taxes 80% "Entrepreneurs need to recruit executives who know how to run a business. They're on big salaries with big companies that offer pensions. A 10% rate enables someone with a big income to take a chance and work with an entrepreneur." So will he actually be voting Labour this time?

Ronnie gave cash to help RONNIE! and the fact is he couldnt give a flying fuck about social policy! The ZANULAB vermin let it be known early on that they were "open for business" and the 'carpet bagger capitalists' came running with their bags of cash(bribes)! Over the last ten years many hundreds of fat NULAB parasites have filled their boots with bribes/fake jobs/tax scams/backhanders! Robert Mugabe would blush at how corrupt and brazen this NuLiebour regime has been! BILLIONS of pounds siphoned off via things like the 'dome'/olympics/Thames Gateway/EUSSR and of course the gravytrain free money waggon!
These slimy fuckers dont want voting out, they want strangling!

The mutterings against him within the Parliamentary Labour Party are getting louder aswell.

Quite. "Doing" the system is what these creeps are all about.

Luckily for Brown, he has one less reason to look over his shoulder nowadays.

RC is a talking bullshit and take my word for this, he knows it.

What was wrong with the country in 97 that he thinks is so much better now for small business?

I cant think of anything. Not one single thing whatsoever that GB has done to make running any type of small business better, and I own and run one.

I think I can safely say I speak for a vast majority of small business men by saying that people have started companies in spite of government policy not because of them.

I could list tens if not a hundred ways he has deliberately made things far worse.

Why does lying though ones teeth with an innocent look on ones face count for so much these days?

As others have said RONNY makes BIG MONEY out of stupid politicians. He would do better to keep out of politics, and never show his face on the TV ever again. Because he is a typical example of the sort of person that gives his/my people a very bad name indeed. By treating the public as not only cash COWS but very thick stupid ones in particular.

A personal message to Ronny namesake. Who I think I am right in saying I am directly related to.

There is no point now Ronny trying to make piece with your maker. You are going to the place you fully deserve one day. Where all the really bad very greedy lying bastards go, and never come back from. The sooner the better I say. If you are so keen on small business start lending cash to them on low interest rates. Instead of bribing politicians and pampering to your own and their personal megalomania.

Big business has always favoured certain forms of state regulation because it benefits them at the expense of small businesses. They can afford the layers and layers of red tape flying out of Whitehall, they have their complex R&D directly or indirectly subsidised by the government and they have a government subsidised public transport system that allows them cheap access to a wide range of employees over large areas.

Right on.

Starting a small business in this country especially if you are born here. Is the most stupid personal poverty creating thing you could do to your own life and that of your family, there is.

It is now the quickest way to lose your house then having a sex drug and gambling addiction all at the same time.

If anyone reading this is thinking about starting their own business that has a job at the moment.

Don't even do that. Go to work and kiss the boss on the cheek, and pray the silly bugger carries on being insane for a few years more at least.

SME's are being crucified by this excuse for a government. They don't have the ability to pay for lobbyists to get the law changed to create a legal monopoly though schemes like SCAT, GCAT, NHSCAT and the like.

As soon as a proper free market put in place again, true entrepreneurship can take place again - not that I think many of today's big name business people remember what that feels like!!

Well, this is absolute tosh. The whole point is, as Mountjoy states, that people have started businesses despite Brown's policies. If your own business is suffering (perhaps because you spend too much time online on this blog?) it does not automatically figure that everyone else's is as well. Look at Stanislav's entrepreneurship then for an example, its damn good to be a Pole in this day and age.

Lets face it the economy is fucked. It has been built on massive amounts of debt. Equity withdrawl on mortgages will become harder as will borrowing unsecured money. This will reduce consumer spending and push us into recession who will back cyclops then. The "miracle" in long term growth has been built on debt and cheap Chinese labour keeping prices low. Both are due to change

Prescott caught in loans row

John Prescott made planning decisions in favour of two property developers who had given secret loans and a donation to the Labour party, it emerged this weekend.

The deputy prime minister gave his backing to a controversial £600m scheme proposed by Andrew Rosenfeld, chairman of the Minerva property company, only months after Rosenfeld had secretly loaned Labour £1m last year.

Times report

Cohen, like Rosenfeld, is a big donor to Lord Levy's charity Jewish Care. Philanthropy pays, on my life.

Cohen is a pragmatist who understands business. Darling is a failed lawyer who apparently has no concept of business and wealth creation and is proposing to discard almost 10 years of labour encouragement for entrepreneurs. Labour support in businesses is melting like snow in the Sahara, due to his vain, arrogant stance and intransigence on CGT.
Seeking simplicity in the tax system my arse; investors in SMEs have no problem calculating taper relief. I am sure there must still be one or two people somewhere in the Treasury who can explain to Darling how to calculate a 50% reduction in tax after 1 year or 75% after 2 years.

It didn't seem like that at the time. It was a war for national survival, not a war against ideology.

Now we are told we are at war with 'terrorism' - another convenient ideology to claim the ultimate sacrifice.

How long before the people of Britain, not least the armed servies, realise they are being taken for a ride?

Aye, right, as we say in Scotland, best part of England.
Is it a first in hair splitting you have, or a double first ?

Independent think tank, chaired by Ian and Duncan Smith. Talk fucking shit you fucking anonymous moron. As for you, Dennis, your fucking hump must be growing into your fucking brains. You don't imagine, do you, that Aitken knows anything about the real hardship faced by ordinary people who land on the Go To Jail square, who lose their homes and families, come out without a pot to piss in. This is just a way back into the coridors of power and greed and pimping. Do you really think that Aitken's self-publicity about writing letters for cons (none of them, you know, can write, or tie up their shoelaces without some fucking bent, corrupt-in-the-blood toff like Aitken extending the hand of phony christian charity, miserable fucking self aggrandising fucking Godless heathen fucking bastard pimping degenerate) qualifies him to pronounce on penal reform ? Some poor bastard who's had a lifetime of kickings from the screws, thrown out time after time with a hundred quid to build a new life and family and home, maybe he might have something useful to say. And helpful.

Upper class penal reformers like The Howard League and the unlamented home office sycophants at NACRO -that horrid little NACROID cunt Cavdino was slither out of the woodwork today - have succeed in keeping the nick much as it was in the days of the Vicorian penitentiary, only without the penitence. Another cunt like Aitken poncing a position and a wholly undeserved public voice on the backs of the poor, the lost and the mentally ill who constitute a large part of the jail population will help ensure things stay much as they are. The remedy to the prison crisis is straightforward enough for anyone with the political will. Legalise drugs and cut more than half of crime at a stroke. Even the cops say this is overdue. Employ graduates in the nick -as in the probation and social services - for those who must be incarcerated and whom we really don't want to re offend on release. Properly resource the probation service after a decade of it being fucked about by populist clowns like Himmler Straw, the mouthy gabshite Blunkett and that fucking horrible little Scotch cunt Reid, the visionary who, when defence secretary, said that not a shot would be fired at our boys in Afghanistan, revolting little fucking turd. Devise meaningful and productive community sentences for lesser offences and do some of this fucking "investment" that the mad cunt Brown blethers about in mental health services, stop using the nicks as cheap hospitals for disturbed people. There. Job done. Remedy from Polish plumber. Perhaps Mr nit-picking fucking Anonymous will forward it to Ian and Duncan's Independent Think Tank,in which it will, no doubt, promptly fucking drown.

Aitken has done his time and given his breach of trust and his cynical use of his own children, a custodial sentence was quite appropriate. He shouldn't be further punished but his crimes were so fucking obnoxious, so absolutely inexcusable by hardship or illness or need or disadvantage that he has no business pronouncing or "advising" on public policy.

The rehabilitation of offenders act is, as the great Polish playwright says, honoured more in the breach than the observance, exclusions abound and it is virtually meaningless; it is nigh on impossible for a former convict to ever have a normal life again and this may be, in the scheme of things, understandable and even proper. What is not understandable or proper, however, is Lord Jeffrey Arsehole and the arsonist Lord Mike Watson of Scotland retainingseats in the legislature, or the lying, pimping, child abusing whoremaster and cunt Aitken being involved, at any level in something as important as penal reform - and in whatever else he most assuredly hopes it will lead him to, vile bastard.
