LibDem Woes Surely Demand Tory Silence

Guido is surprised at those two Tory bloggers, Dizzy and Dale, rubbing their LibDem opponents noses into the polls. Surely the best thing for the Tories is to keep silent and hope Ming remains in situ?

Speaking of Tory bloggers, Ed Vaizey promised Iain Dale he would make a blog post every day if Iain publicised him. He broke his promise the same day. How unusual for a politician. He has also managed to cross everything on his blog out. Doh!

Au contraire - the only person that would win an election is moonbat mad Huhne - who would be a gift to the Cons.

Maybe he's trying to cross the 't', but got a little carried away. If he goes on to dot the 'i' it'll be a first for a politician.

Even the Lib Dems can figure this one out by themselves.

I'm sure this is why Brown ruled out an election in 2008 - to ensure the Lib Dems recover in the polls ( post putsch ) and can do his dirty work for him in the parts of the country that stealth socialism can't reach.

If they have any sense they will elect Nick Clegg - oddly a man who the Conservatives could do business with. If they the other rich guy then its game over.

I think the Dizzy-Dale plan is.....

The Libs will definitely not do anything that what passes these days for the right wing media tells them to do.

So, if you want them not to do something, then tell them to do it.

Who knows - it might even work.

I subscribe to the JohnfromCamberley school of thought. Tell your political opponents to do the eminently sensible thing and they will dig their heels in just because of who is saying it. Remember me asking Bob Piper to take his blacked-up Cameron down and similarly with Recess Monkey and his "Thatcher's dead" post and more famously Cameron asking Gordon to hold an election. All three ploughed their own furrow with disastrous consequences.

Don't matter. Nobody, not even the LDs, take Iain Dale seriously.

Poor old Ming the Merciless just can't see Vinnie Cable, who masquerades as the Shadow Chancellor (please!), moving in for the kill now that his honour for brown noseing from Blair is out the window. The crash of zimmer frames will be like the rutting of old stags.

Hold on boys and girls-we are talking about the Fib Dems?

These guys are at each others throats with the Orange Book and Beveridge Goons trying to see how much more left wing they can become.

My money if there is a coup, is on some dosser like Carmicheal or Teather (heaven forbid) putting themselves up front as a stalking horse candidate saying that the old man ain't up for the job, then Baker or Huhne being the 'unifying' candidate.

Expect the 'right wing' like Clegg or Cable to be smeared like Oaten on a good night out.

What ever happens, the Fib Dems becomes the new Militant Tendancy.
