Sith Break the Rules, Sith Change the Rules
The Charity Commission has been foot dragging on reporting any findings from their investigation into the Smith Institute's multiple breaches of the charity laws.
Ed Miliband, the Cabinet Office minister and frequent attendee of Smith Institute events at 11 Downing Street in the past, now reckons "Charities should be free to participate in appropriate ways in political activities. There are clear benefits to society from allowing charities to do so."
Guido is in favour of such a change in the law, but the Charity Commission's Smith Institute investigation should still reach a prompt conclusion. Gordon Brown was the sole beneficiary of a charity which broke the law continuously for five years and acted as a campaign slush fund for him. Nobody is above the law.
The Charity Commission needs to ascertain, in good time, whether or not taxpayers money was diverted to furthering Gordon Brown's private interests.

This will go the same way as cash for honours lots of noise and fury but in the end no breach will be found blah blah pass the white wash will you dear.BASTARDS!
The only way to get anything done is take them court yourself. we all know this is the only way justice will be done.
Since the scandalous CPS decision, I can hardly muster the strength to care. I had no idea my country was so corrupt. If the men of power can prevent prosecution for one thing, the same technique will protect them whatever they do. The next John Prescott may be able to play Beria's flower game, rather than rely on the aphrodisiac of power.
You're on for the same level of success as cash for honours on this one.
This country is rapidly turning into a banana republic with a president who is it appears imune to the law.We have postal voting fraud, politicians openly lying and what do the press and oposition do? fuck all thats what.I could hold this lot to account with more sucesss that cameron and the brown nose reporters.
Fiat justitia ruat caelum
Do you think this is a ball which be run by Cameron? Or is he too busy in Rwanda?
Cameron needs to grow balls and start shouting about this kind of thing on TV...he could be on the Politics Show every week if he liked.
But that would be punch and judy politics and the stupid twat doesn't do that...what a fucking mong he is.
I'd like to see Gordon Ramsay shouting "WHERE ARE YOUR BOLLOCKS CAMERON! HAVE YOU FUCKIN' GOT NONE?"
Oh yes there are Guido. That absolute FACT is self apparent. Or if it is not by now it never will be to some people.
The day when the Conservative party finally does a 'Porter job' on this Neo-Labour party is becoming more distant by the hour.
British democracy has borrowed almost as much from the 1980s Pakistani version of government than the 1930s Oswald Moseley type. Which is a very large amount indeed.
For Christ sake Guido we have had open ballot rigging for 3 general elections at least and no one gives a flying f..k about EVEN THAT. Least of all interested is the '''''''TRUSTED'''''' BBC.
I think if you genuinely believe that some people are not above the even the most serious of Laws in 2007 Britain. Then you are living in a different world then myself. However you will find out the real reality of what has happened to this once great country and soon. So then hopefully we can both be living in the same country again. Lets just hope we are not divided by prison walls by then.
I suggest that if you can not heed any of my previous warnings. At least make sure your self assesment taxes are sorted out and Kosher as much as humanly possible. Even to the finest and seemingly most irrelevant detail, going back at least seven years.
Make sure your computer does not have even a picture of your own children or a pair of your own old ladies knickers on it. In fact its best to get rid of the PC altogether, because evidence can be planted by the government on any private PC, quicker then a few lines of coke can be suddenly be incarnated in your back pocket by a dodgy DS copp as well.
Make sure that all types of previous skeletons in your past closet have been well and truely buried at least 20 feet under.
Or keep a tube of KY and tooth brush handy.
Even the Arch-Bishop of Canterbury is not in a good possition to take on this lot. Are you sure you have the slightest idear what you are taking on here? I think you would be well advised to have a long talk with the wife about this.
Shouldn't your posting be "the alleged Smith Institute's multiple breaches of the charity laws." Or is Guido judge, jury and executioner?
They have the media in their palm. The Conservatives allowed themselves to be mugged with the 'synonymous' use of the non-reinforceing (in brand terms)'Tory' in news broadcasts in mid 1996 as a concurrent ploy to the Labour/New 'Improved' Labour brand marketing exercise. It's not factual innacurracy where the BBC and others now make their attacks.
A few days ago:Ian Duncan Smith shown visiting an estate with the commentary that he was -'wondering what to do about...' the broken society. Then 2? days later Mark Simpson stating that laws on alcohol consumption -'were a more difficult problem' for the Conservatives. It's not factual innacuracy where the problem lies(!) it's in the editorial slanting and non-reporting that they have successfully got away with it for so long.Human nature dictates that if a wrong-doer gets away with something one time, they'll keep pushing further and further the next. We're going to end up in a social democratic dead end with no wealth creation and even less freedom. The right needs to fund a vigorous media watchdog. Those BBC editing suites are surely now the homes of that influx of leftward leaning 'journalists' into the BBC in the run up to the 1997 election as referenced by the Wilson report.
You'd think with the right thinking people having all the money they'd have the sense to maintain a grip on the media or at least make sure the enemy couldn't get a strangle-hold on it.
"Nobody is above the law."
Yeah right, try telling that to Blair, Leavy, Thatcher, Thatchers son, etc. etc.
If you want to know what's happened to the rule of law in the UK, picture Levy's laughing face. If you can't picture it or want to remind yourself, try

Nice for Miliband that he actually controls a government-funded Charity in the British Council, headed up by Lord Kinnock, former leader of the Labour Party. Another "trusted" organisation.
Does that mean ALL charities will have free airtime on BBC in future ?

Or bloodied miners,Maggie out.You do not lecture us on justice.Your lot are out of power because of what you did when you had it.You were the nasty party, remember ? More of your crowd were in prison, than in the government by the time the electorate said hop it, we've had enough.
Over on Ms Dale's Diary, people are debating whether David Cameron 'needs a willie'.
Oh shocking, how risQUE!!!
Surely DCam has no such needs - he can provide a cock-up on his own any time you want one.
Any bets that they'll want to make the rule changes retrospective?

The answer to your question is no. It is perfectly legal in the country to make accusations (even against politicians for the moment). Likewise, the subjects of such accusations are free to sue if they feel aggrieved.
Saying 'alleged' is the scumbag coward way of accusing somebody without having the courage to say it yourself.
as JHL mentioned the other day, an order of Mandamus would sort out these self serving little shits.

The BBC are already history. Viewing figures are at their lowest since colour TV was invented and falling. It's better that they continue to be blantantly left wing then it will be easier for a future right-wing government to get rid of them altogether.
And with or without Cameron there will be a right wing government sooner or later. In the meantime, the more the lefties mess it up the bigger the mandate will be when the time comes. Chill, comrades.
Scary Biscuits (8.17pm), your comments about my posting (2.51pm) were very eloquently put, but wrong. I wasn't saying that what Guido wrote was illegal. I was merely asking whether he was judge, jury and executioner. So your point is null and void.
Not sure whether this one is a windmill or a wild goose ... but it's certainly obsessive-delusional.
Isn't chris paul silly? He has 2 first names...
Nobody is above the law?
The fucking hell I aren't!
And Gordon has the brass neck to lecture and pontificate, invoking his supposedly sacred moral compass ? What a hollow , hypocritical and nauseous little man.

Oh dear. Your ruthless logic finds me out.
1) I criticize Labour's corruption, therefore I must be a Tory.
2) 'Coz the Tories were corrupt, it's okay for Labour to be.
Off Topic: For Guido's caption contest next week.

Yes, if you swap round the letters a bit it sounds like Piss Crawl.
( He only posts on here because no-one reads his blog-I think he's trying to be a journalist )

Obviously aiming extremely low, then.

Given your success with Yates and loans for peerages, i wouldn't hold your breath Guido.
Millipede has put the ball into motion to legitimise The Sith Institute and their actions. Any legisaltion will be backdated. In the meantime the spineless placemen/women at the charity commission will sit on the paperwork hoping for it to become time barred and irrelevant.
Welcomr to 21st Century Democratic Britain, taking on board all the lessons of our corrupt European partners.
Humbug, shoot the lot of 'em.
Mr Penfold
I think your cynicism is quite justified, but I am struggling to think of previous examples of similar retrospective legislation.
The correct and proper position, at the very least, is for the Sith's trustees to be surcharged by the amount of tax that the organisation has avoided through its fake charitable status. I remain in hope!
