Harman Was Backed by the Sith
Guido has only just found out that Harman was advised by Deborah Mattinson, the high-priestess of the Sith, Gordon's personal pollster, Smith Institute board member and recipient of many juicy government contracts though her firm OLR.

Odd that they didn't do one of their 'authoritative' opinion leader surveys - or perhaps they did!
Please help save (what is left of) our educational system, that the Gov has done so much to undermine. Science teachers are very concerned about the damage done and the implications. Science will become like modern languages in schools: lost in a generation

" We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to Reject as inadequate the new GCSE criteria for Science, with particular reference to the lack of meaningful Physics content."

...sod all to do with the article. Also the fact that he used a capital letter in the middle of a sentence i.e. "Reject" would seem to prove the point about modern languages.
Oh Give up and move on! You just got it wrong - OK?
Just seen her the Daily Politics - on the web at al beeb's site.
Performance up there with blinky balls. Now backing away from apolgising for Iraq, as she said in the hustings on Newsnight
What's next - revised edited tape from al beeb where she says "I DISagree" with Cruddas. Al beeb claim technical fault on original live transmission meant nobody heard the "DIS" part of the statement
Coming next, Lindon Oratory and St Olaves schools are redefined as sink estate schools and that's why her kids went there
Agree with Mutley. Time for you to get back to your key raison d'etre.
glover in the indy media section has agreed with you abt editors going to the levy leaving party. he differentiates, sensibly, other hacks.
Why do people hate politicians so very much?
"Labour's new deputy leader Harriet Harman has denied saying the government should apologise over the Iraq war.
She told BBC Radio's Today: "I've never said the government should apologise."
During the closely-fought campaign she said "I agree" when rival Jon Cruddas told a Newsnight hustings event that the Labour Party should "say sorry"

Oh yeah stuff like this.
She can't have been the result Brown expected and it must have come as an unwelcome surprise, but he recovered well. Making Harperson Chairperson was a masterstroke. Ironic that having fought the campaign largely on the basis of not having testicles she's ended up neutered. She won't get to be DPM or deputise at PMQs. She can twitter away to her socialist heart's content while being largely insulated from causing any real damage. Meet Harriet (Mostly) Harmless.
Did you notice how in Brown's acceptance speech at the Labour Party special conference - he started using the terminology of the Budget Statement. "I can announce today etc, etc" - what a yawn.
Gordo may feel on firm ground giving a well prepared speech - I wonder how he will do when 'events, dear boy, events' snap at his heels?
As for putting a 'soul' into the party - what cheek from a man who for the last 10 years seemed to consider that the financial aspects of anything are all that matter.
HH's victory was not exactly stunning was it - a pity the Chipmunk got so comprehensively stuffed, even with all her many failings she was better than HH.
HH was told to push off when she tried to lever her son into Langley Park Boys School (Beckenham) and quite rightly so too. St Olaves (Orpington) were next on the shopping list and this school submitted !!
For those who asked - and isn't it odd that a transcript isn't out there in the media?

She says several times that Labour must admit that they got it wrong (on Iraq) and then 17 minutes and 57 seconds in, Jezza asks, "do you think the party should say 'sorry' for what happened?" Cruzza says "I do actually, as part of a general reconciliation with the British people over," "Yep, (Harman interrupts)," "what has been a disaster," "Yes, I agree with that (Harman interrupts, nodding)", "in Iraq, and I don't think we can rebuild a sense of trust and dialogue with the British people unless we fundamentally reconcile ourselves to what the situation is on the ground, and our own culpability in creating that." "Yes, I agree with that. (Harman)"
Three times...
And on the Today prog this morning, again three times "I've never said the government should apologise."
Brilliant work - not in the job 24 hours and already a proven liar, and a proven idiot.
What was that about 'you shall deny me three times"?
Who really believes anything that Harman or her colleagues say? These people are living political cartoons.
Mutley's right. Move on mate.
There will be fresh stories, and you may get some of them right.
