Where's Gordon?™ Day 30

Gordon is in Brussels and then going to Scotland campaigning, missing from PMQs yet again.

Where's Gordon? tracks Gordon's campaign trail as he tries to shore up the Labour vote. Yesterday he was, as always, at a photo op at a school...

What Labour vote will he be shoring up in Brussels? Just wondering....?

Who's paying for all this "Scotland campaigning" Constituency visits are legitimate.but he's all over the place.
I hope the Labour Party is recording all this for post-election scrutiny.

What's he going to do about PMQs when he's PM? I bet he oils out of them, and out of his weekly audience with HM the Queen.

Brown, (how i wish he was called Browne), simply cannot face the ridicule DC throws his way in PMQ's.
Whenever DC mentions him he turns to the person next to him to begin a make a supposedly highly serious & salient point, even when it's Reid sat there.
The potential for mocking him when he can't squirm or miss PMQ's will be quite interesting.
I have a hunch the canny Scots are going to realise they are risking their luxurious position of having their cake, and indeed eating it, courtesy of the english taxpayer if they vote for the arse Mr oily Salmon.
If Labour cling on, Brooon will be a whirlwind of clunking fists, so lets hope the 'never had a real job' muppets who advise DC are fully aware of that.
His second two questions today were on a par for pathetic crapness with the worst of IDS.

Just watching ginger Brillo today, that smug shyte must have a permanent lob-on working four days a week with beautiful bookworm bint Scott, & the perfect size 12 pulsating pile of Celtic pulchritude, Kuenssberg.
Lucky lucky bastard.

Watching reviled Gordon squirm and fidget during pmq's will be one of the few pleasures of a Brown premiership.

ALLEGATIONS OVER ELECTION LEAFLET

BY RUPERT JANISCH R.JANISCH

10:40 - 02 May 2007

An election candidate is being investigated by his party over claims that he doctored a photograph for a campaign leaflet. An image of Busharat Ali, apparently showing him at a demonstration in London, appears on a leaflet delivered to homes in the city council's Lawrence Hill ward, where Mr Ali is the Labour candidate in tomorrow's poll.

It appears alongside a statement in which Mr Ali says: "I was on the National March in London against the Iraq war."

The Liberal Democrats say the placement of the photograph next to that statement implies that the photograph is one of Mr Ali attending the national march - although the leaflet does not claim this.

In the statement Mr Ali says the Lib Dems face legal action for "lies and slurs" in one of their leaflets, which claims he supported the war in Iraq.

But the Lib Dems have accused Mr Ali of faking the London photograph, which they say is "almost identical" to another picture, available on the internet, of a pro-Hezbollah march following the Israeli invasion of Lebanon last year.

That photograph apparently shows another Asian man in the same foreground position occupied by Mr Ali on his election leaflet but appears to be otherwise identical, down to the arrangement of protest banners and cloud formations.

Bristol Liberal Democrat leader Barbara Janke said: "I have written to the local Labour Party asking for an urgent explanation."

Bristol West Lib Dem MP Stephen Williams has also called for an explanation.

The Evening Post has made several attempts to contact Mr Ali, leaving messages on his mobile phone and visiting his home in St Mark's Road, Easton, but he has not replied to our requests for a comment.

But Susan Brown, regional communications officer for the Labour Party, said: "We are investigating the matter in question."

Where's Gay Gordon? Gay Gordon is in Brussels.

Damage limitation ? Gay Gordon usually leaves the country when he's in trouble. Is Gay Gordon implicated in the Gay Lord Browne rent boy affair ?

Where's Gay Peter Mandelson ? Brussels maybe.

Viewers to today's 'Daily Politics' may have noted the comment that in Scotland the Postal votes are closer than the opinion polls are saying.

Oh and who is leaking this supposedly secret voting data?

Mcavity's cat ??

Is this gossip?

I think Brown is a broken man and I think he'll crack within days of taking office, once the eye catching stuff is over.

Apparently, Mr Broon has been dodging photo-calls in Brussels that would require him to stand alongside Paul Wolfowitz. Photophobic?

Do you have a link to Bush Rat's truly unbelievable film? Can't find it on you tube anymore?

PS in the meantime watch bristol Mp the incomparable Dim Primarolo running from the bbc, hilarious:

"Apparently, Mr Broon has been dodging photo-calls in Brussels that would require him to stand alongside Paul Wolfowitz."

This is because Paul Wolkfwitz isn't a school-child. "Suffer the little children to come unto me" is the standing instruction for a Brown photoshoot.

Yesterday (1st May) Gordon opened Westfield School a new PFI project in Sheffield. Sadly I can't find any news reports of the event.

He seems to spend an awful lot of time amongst the wee ones. (Perhaps all those bogeys make him feel at hom.)

Has he had a CRB check?

Is a major gay-elite/rent-boy scandal in the offing?

Several names keep cropping up including Lord Browne, Gordon Brown and Peter Mandelson.

The press seem to think something's going on.

Brown and Mandelson both in Brussels today.

Why has Browne "voluntarily" given up over £15 million by going early?

Seems unnecessary as he could have hung on to collect it.

Perhaps there's summat else brewing?

gengiz the kahn said...

When was the last time Broon was sighted at PMQs?

He seems to do a runner when it suits him. For a 'PM in waiting', he seems to diasappear at times of crisis - London Bombings, where was Broon?

See this week's Economist on some of his failings. Mr Charisma-free-Brown doesn't inspire confidence that he can think on the hoof.

"Brown and Mandelson both in Brussels today."

Getting their story 'straight' (as it were...)

Anonymous said...

I see one of Brown's heroes is Robert Kennedy - another 'charismatic' liberal who helped drag his country into a disastrous war. Wasn't 'Bobby' Blair's pet name for Mandelson?

gordo has been to brussels to get his orders from the high command.

He's in Brussels shitting himself about a rent boy scandal and making sure Mandy's on message.

Anonymous said...

Gordon says he's in favour of enterprising local businesses. Maybe he's always visiting schools in case they rent out the better-looking boy pupils. Make a nice little earner for them.

we want the whole story said...

Every newspaper is mentioning Browne, Brown, and Mandelson in the same article and I can't believe that there isn't something going on. Do gagging orders apply in Canada? I'm sure they don't apply in Nevis...

I heard there is an injunction against publication of some communication between Browne and Brown. Possibly the Mail on Sunday?

Anyone know any more.

Bush is rehearsing his greeting to the PM in waiting now that "Yo Blair!" is going.

Henceforth the greeting will be "Beam up me Scotty!"

'Of much greater interest is his discussions with Gordon Brown, Mandelson and Mandelson's consort. The Judge in his wisdom has agreed that these details should not be revealed'.

The above refers to Lord Browne recently outed gay ex-boss of BP. Why's it all so hush hush?

What are they trying to hide?

I see that Gordon has pulled out of a press conference with Wolfowitz while denying it's a snub.

Saying "I'm sticking by my friends and screw you all" would have been courageous. Saying "I'm snubbing this man because he is a semi-crook" would have been honourable, if a little hypocritical. Pulling out while denying it's a snub is just cowardly.

Guido, Might it not be more productive to send Peter Stringfellow along to a school, while Gordon Brown accompanies you to a nightclub for a photo opportunity of some shenanigans..

Anonymous said...

"send Peter Stringfellow along to a school..."

That would surely be a novel experience for Sir Peter.

Guido, apologies for veering off-topic, but shouldn't the world be warned against

sadistic lesbian foster parents

Of course, they may not be lesbian (tee hee) and they may not have been foster parents. As ever, El Beeb is totally silent about how their victims fell into their power.

Bank of England Governor, Mervyn King, warned last night that the UK money supply is out of control. Surely not Mervyn. I thought Gordon Brown had given us a "miracle economy" where everything always gets better without boom and bust.

Well it looks like we've had the boom , fuelled by rampant money supply and debt fuelled spending, and now we're going to get one almighty bust.

It was difficult ... Bolshoi socialites on one side, Notting Hillbilly Conservationalists on the same side ... not a DimLeb to be seen (nothing unusual there then), but I managed to put a cross by UKIPPERS and one by some bloke who wants to perish on a parish council. I figured anything was better than the Fat-shits, and they had enough sense not to stand down here in the deep south. But at least I got leaflets, though none from Broon's criminal cohort. Perhaps they're all sprouting (pouting?) in Brussels or spouting in Scotland, and daren't venture south of the Thames. If only Salmon were still swimming in that muddy water ... and I ain't talking blues singers.

This is not homophobic you stupid twat. It is anti nonconsentual and if you examine it more closely antifascist. Further more who says that penis fondling is a soley male activity in the first place

Actually anon enjoys a nice bit of bum fun on occassion.

Cannot testify to the verasity of this but

I work near Leeds/Bradford airport, and was passed this intersting potential ASBO case.

Apparently the Goblin King landed at the airport yesterday morning, apparently the inside of the plane where he was sat was covered in graffiti / doodles in permanent marker that couldn't be removed. No future tax plans included as far as I can gather
