As the people of Dagenham and Barking see their towns swamped by "aliens" who are given preferential treatment in the allocation of council houses, they are turning, in desperation, to the BNP as the only party who says it will put the interests of indigenous people first.

Not so - many migrants from other parts of the UK (my own ancestors included) arrived in the 'East End'. In many/most cases these were workers from the countryside who moved to London looking for work. It is just plain silly to say that all East-Enders were immigrants.

Just for the record; Hodge was lampooned (too weak a word) as King Herod for her abominable performance at Islington where she failed to prevent child abuse in
the homes her department was supposed to be running.
In subsequent events which are too complex for a blogger response, she allowed social service departments to duck-shove the issues of whether they had falsely removed children from families and had them forcibly adopted. A tiny handful of cases were identified in the end, with the social services departments being allowed to say they had reviewed their own files and found themselves to have acted impeccably.
Hodge walked around intoning how the children were settled and couldn't possibly returned to their real, rightful, proper families. On that logic, if Madeline McCann's kidnapper hangs on to her for three or four years, they should get automatic parental rights, anyway.
For splitting up families and pursuing a policy indistinguishable from Nazi family policy, Hodge should be forced to wear a permanent moustach and be spat upon by every Jew in Golders Green, simply because a Jew should know better than to let the state requisition children.
Having said all that, I'm also from the Dagenham and Ilford and my rellies are still there. All Hodge has said is what they all say down the pub. I do not even believe in social housing, nor social welfare, but whilst this system is in place it must be operated in accordance with social rules such as those dictated by the Human Rights Act ie. according to need. However, most boroughs are run corruptly and the indigenous peoples have got things sewn up anyway - that is until immigrants arrive who study this corruption and learn to look after their people too.
