Ming "Focus on Principle over Fashion"

Friend of Kylie, Gordon attacked celeb culture and now Ming has a go at "principle over fashion...open-necked shirt photo ops with headlines attached". "What we need is the dominance of principle over fashion.... What we need is real, tough decision-making."

Ming has made the tough decision to have a (politically fashionable) Facebook link. Principle?

How about if they told the truth?

"We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to Make it mandatory that politicians are hooked up to a lie detector when speaking in Parliament"

Isn't it the LibDems principle to have dual-principles, dual-parties and dual-manifestos depending who the opposition party is in each seat.

No wonder poor OLD Ming looks confused.

But not principle over power it would seem. They are really turning into party hopping tarts in Scotland, who needs charisma or a solid manifesto when you just do a deal with the party which just happens to be in vogue at any election.

regardless of whether or not you like the Libdems, Ming is correct. You can't please all of the people all of the time and we need politicians to have a hard edged debate about matters such as reform of the benefit system and exactly what the NHS can be expected to cover.Blair and Cameron both insult the electorate with vacuous populism

Is 'Principles' a Savile Row gentlemens' outfitters? Isn't it Ming who thinks spats are the height of fashion? Does Boris Yeltsin show more signs of life than Ming? Do we all prefer the Cheeky Girls to LibDem policies? Oh no ... popular appeal ... what have I said ... prepare yourselves for a Cheeky Girl government. Uuuummmm ... the Cheeky Girls are coming certainly sounds better than the CampBelles are coming. And cursive word verification ... is that to prove that you can do joined up thinking Guido? OK ... so the 2nd one gives me 'liazube' ... I guess I was asking for that! Or is it an observation on Ming?

To be fair, when he was coming into his prime, they were.

He looks like he should be in the Ashmolean, with a biro through his nose.

Funny how Ming and other Lib Dems preferred to cover up that Kenndey was all too often drunk and incapable during the run up to the last General Election.

Ming made a good point, shame it was not a reflection of what they offer. Yes, Facebook, or worse New-Tory-Labour (http://darrenlilleker.blogspot.com/2007/04/is-ming-reading-my-blog.html)

Ming looks remarkably like that amiable cartoon skeleton in the 80s that was used to advertise the "lifetime guarantee" for video tapes, to a rather jaunty tune. Could they be related? Can't find his image on google just yet...

How dare you!

There is but ONE Mekon and he is Master of all.

I believe that you are possibly referring to his race known as the TREENS.

In fact my loyal companion is a Treen and his name is Sondar.

I voted liberal because they are better than nothing, and I think many more people will. The Torys are less than nothing, the labour party is nothing,There is no person in British politics who has real class who would have the confidence of the voting public. When roman emperor was asked, when he was dieing who should rule after him, the said ;the strongest one;Our politicions are mostly verbose wimps who will never take on and solve the real isues that the public want solving.
