the kid suffered "stomach cramps" and the father suffered from "Atrial Fibrillation"? - a litre of Vodka a day would sort that out - and why was he transfered from High Wycombe Hospital to the Hammersmith Hospital ? - a bit embarrasing if the PM had died in a little district general hospital. Did anyone I wonder take a peek under his gown and take a photo whilst he was unconscious during his cardioversion??? or whilst doped up on during his transosophogeal echo scan ??? let' hope not .....

Euan is unwell! Seriously rodent bottomed more like and if not, why not.

Some people will do anything to get away from their family. Can't blame him for that after all you can't choose your family, only your friends.

Going on holiday with mummy and daddy at age 22. Serious case of freeloader dependency it would seem.

'stomach complaint': maybe he saw those pictures of his bathing-suited mum on your blog last week!

Have some sympathy for the lad.

How would you like to spend 3 weeks with Cherie and Tony?

Be enough to turn anyones stomach that would.

Spending three weeks with Cherie and Tony obviously drove him (even deeper) into drink!

Yet another Blair child trying to top themselves?
Razor blades/pills or booze, drugs and birds - all are behaviours on the same psychological spectrum.
Anyone would think they have issues with Daddy...

Come on; fair play. Cherie & BLiar can always get out of the kitchen if it gets too hot but the lad can't.

Leave him alone you bullies.

'Yet another Blair child trying to top themselves?' -- sorry, but what, specifically, are you referring to?

Dear Wonderful for his Age

You are quite right. Surely nobody's children are fair game for such comments. The lad may be 22 and of voting age, &c., but he cannot help being the offspring of such odious parents and may indeed, as some have adumbrated, be burdened with consequent psychological difficulties: in which case he is deserving of sympathy rather than criticism.

I am, and shall remain,

Yours truly

Apparently he was quite childish at school. Doesn't seem to have changed much.

I think Cherie caught him reading this blog in secret on Sir Cliff's computer and the 'stomach pains' come from repeated blows from Scotland Yard's finest, each blow accompanied by Lady Muckbeth asking him for other blogs he has read.

Of course the detectives went slightly too far when he mentioned conservativehome - hence the need for hospital treatment.

Looks like a right chip off the old block, and what a pair of blocks to be chipped from!!!!!!!!!

and whas all this business of going on holiday with mummy and daddy when your 22 years old, I was 16 when I last went with my parentals and would have been mortally embarrassed going with them after this age, like most people I know. Hasnt he got any friends he can go to Benidorm, Ibiza, etc with!!!!??????

But then again walking round with a moustache and floppy fringe at his age might be quite dangerous in some of these resorts....

My money is on the squirt becoming a new labour MP sooner or later, they would be an ideal employer.

Me talking to Cheri.

Cheri. "If you were my son I would give you poison/drugs overdose."

Me. "and if you were my mother I would drink/take it."

As for blaming parents for the actions of their ofspring. I am sure "who knows" is no child himself but still if being honest would understand that their are still unresolved issues going on with his parents. One of the most difficult is trying to at least live up to the accomplishments of your own parents. This in modern Britain for the vast magority of ordinary people, never mind Blairs son, is a almost impossible.

One of his problems may be that he looks terribly Italian or Spanish.

"One of the most difficult is trying to at least live up to the accomplishments of your own parents."

Shouldn't be too difficult for Euan then. All he has to do is start in the Middle East, not something that's particularly difficult these days.

Or he could emulate his mother by generally urinating in the face of the British public.

By the way, is it me or does that beard make him look like a seedy little ferret?

Not when it comes to exam results...

When I was in hospital with atrial fibrillation last year, the specialist told me that Blair's was not atrial but ventricular fibrillation. Atrial is more dangerous as it can create blood clots which can cause strokes. Ventricular is uncomfortable and unnerving but will not kill you. Fortunately, you will be pleased to hear, mine has eased without the op being necessary. Blogging helped to regularise my nervous system - somewhere to let off steam.

So let's see:
Euan suddenly gets potentially - but not actually - operably ill, with what sounds like phantom appendicitis, towards the end of the family hol, and mum absolutely has to stay to look after her eldest, 22-year-old cherub even after he's released from hospital - released so rapidly that it suggests the docs have quickly realised there's nothing seriously wrong with him.
Unless he really is still 'ill' but not treatable in hospital.

But Cherie nobly stays by his sickbed - or does she just need an excuse to stay on in Barbados? Afro hair-do? Torrid ongoing affair with Sir Cliff? Flirtatious toy boy beach attendant? Caribbean tax-free money deposits or house purchase?

Of course, she could just be a clingy and over-protective mum, and it could all be entirely innocent. But not many QCs can hang around and extend their leave waiting for sprog to finish feeling a bit poorly with 'man stomach-ache'.

That would account for poor Kathryn then - born with her mother's looks and her father's brains ...

Euan is a little tosser and will remain one. Call it genetic. He has his mother's scrounging gene(never pays for a round of drinks) and his dad's narcissistic gene. Talking of genes, the photo posted asks the question 'Who is the father'?

Poor Euan.......when you are a heavy boozer it is hard to find your way to Leicester Square from Barbados..........I bet he was on the cologne when he ran out of liquor

unresolved issues are of the child not the parent.

one of the most difficult is not to live upto the accomplishments of the parents, but rather do something that will exceed the expectations of the parent/parent figure which mattered more.

modern Britain...thankfully things are getting easier and not more difficult...as the nations identity gets stronger. However, compared to the rest of the world Britains is the pits...and hence the mental health issues are the greatest...and for the same reason it had an empire and there is a hell of a lot to be proud of.

From Euan Blair's point of view, it must be difficult knowing you have a father who's actions are responsible for tens of thousands of deaths. Oh sorry, I forgot, daddy doesn't tell lies does he?

He pays no attention to the cabinet, westminster or the people so what chance do his kids have he will have them reformed after investing public money in them cos that fixes everything .
