Wonkette Goes Back in Time
Ana Marie Cox is to become Washington editor of TIME.com next month. In her new role she will be coordinating political coverage as well as continuing to create features and essays for both the print and online editions.
Cox was the founding editor of the political blog Wonkette, which was great in her day, but is now worse than Recess Monkey. Guido has no intention of following in her footsteps and taking over at the Economist...

Guido I agree, the Economist isn't for you, however, a friend tells me that the publishers of LOOT are currently seeking a new political editor, maybe you could apply?
Perks include free advertising, firsts on especially cheap Transit vans before the punters get to see the advert and a free copy every week to wrap yourself in when relegated to the sofa by Mrs Fawkes.
Another David who's decided Goliath pays better ?
'ere, is this Harry’s Place’s new supplementary blog or sumink. All that pizza dough certainly made the temperature rise.
ah wonkette. a blog i can barely understand.
supposedly written in English.
Recess Monkey has really gone down hill. It's not even worth reading now.
What the f... is this about?
hmmm, fiddling while Rome burns, springs to mind. Don't see that one making my essential daily viewing list.
Wonkette working for time is like The Clash signing to EMI. Punk is dead once more.
Is Wonkette written in some kind of code?
If you don't do Wonkette you just do not enjoy politics, smut and the answer to the universe. It broke the Euan Blair pissed in Washington story for a start. It is the site we need in the UK. Guido if only you had the support!
Recess Monkey used to be great, now it seems like it just posts phot shopped pictures from beau bo d'or constantly. Very poor.
