Charity Breaks Law Supporting Dari Taylor MP
Why is a charity hosting a Labour MP's party political propaganda?
An eagle-eyed co-conspirator spotted that the CRY charity website was hosting Dari's promotional leaflet:

they also have comments from Tim Loughton (con) you failed hedgie plonker.
And that makes it legal does it, Lord Justice Anonymong?
Actually just checked your comment, and you are talking balls. Loughton's "comments" are not his constituency parliamentary report but Early Day Motions about the charity. What point were you struggling to make?
hanibal there is nothing to stop a charity archiving political propaganda for distribution or downloading as background information to its charitable activities. it no more qualifies as political activities that your local library holding past copies of election literature. knob.
and if you look you will see that a mojor section of the constituency report is about a pmb related to the charity. tit-wank.
Just took a look at other parts of the site, what was Rosie pretending to hold in her hands at the Parliamentary Reception? Looks too big to be a chipolata...

Couldn't they have edited the report to leave out the self-congratulatury guff about anti-social behaviour and hunting with dogs though?
hannibal - have you given up? admit it - I've bested you. Please. It will given me the excuse to go back to the totty report - I've still got half a box of kleenex.
The Tree thinks that such pamphlets have to be non-partisan wherever they're published because they use public money. Note the lack of any Labour paraphernalia or even the word Labour.
for some reason my last post, which contained the words kleenex and totty report has been blocked!
Hannibal - admit it, you prescotted on this one.
No, I've not given up. As another more balanced anonymous says above, they could have edited her reoprt but they didn't, instead they chose to publish the whole self-publicising thing and not just that bit which relates to their wholly admirable activities.
Guido, you mong, this isn't party political propaganda, it's a parliamentary report. Lot's of MP's do them, of all parties.
Tell you what, if it's party political, I'll bey you a hundred pounds that it doesn't even mention the word Labour?
You mong.
The report was published in line with Parliamentary Rules on this type of publication, hence why it was produced using parliamentary allowances.
Do you see the words "Labour" or any request for a vote on there?
Well, this (among many) law's an ass init? Not worth the paper its printed on - let alone the parliamentary time to frame scrutinize and enact it.
The RSPCA do it all the time. Lost count of the number of complaints to the Charity Commissioners about them (Hunting mainly). Waste of time. 'The temerity of anyone seeking to impune RSPCA actions tsk tsk - the very thought!' They can get away with practically anything - and did do with the Hunting Act. Still, nobody takes a blind bit of notice of that either - what's sauce for the Goose and all that.
I suppose we must have to read these comments in a funny voice to make them amusing. Read straight they seem to be the rantings of the criminally insane.
They are not "hosting her party political propaganda for her", as such.
They have a news item on their site, relevent to the report, so it is perfectly appropriate for them to provide a download from their site:
Dari Taylor MP's 'proudest moment in Parliament'
In a Parliamentary Report sent to every home in her Stockton South constituency, Dari Taylor MP has spoken of her delight at seeing her Cardiac Risk in the Young (Screening) Bill lead to new NSF guidelines.

For the hard of thinking, (ie: me), would you care to elaborate on which law is being broken?
Just heard on the news that Mark Oaten intends to leave politics and devote his time to "campaigning for the relief of third world poverty"
Oh no,not another one with a penchant for Brazilian rent boys?
Talking of charity cases, the BBC website reports that Mark Oaten will stand down at the next election.
However, he will continue to draw his parliamentary salary and expenses for the next three or four years and, in spite of the fact that he doesn't need them anymore, no doubt he'll continue to work harder than ever for his unfortunate constituents.
LibDem high command are quite happy for him to to cling onto the salary (sorry, I mean, continue to represent the people of Winchester) because the last thing they need right now is a by-election failure to wipe the gloss off their, err, by-election failure at Bromley and Chiselhurst.
Rant over.
What about Tory propaganda on the rates - Michael Howard's constituency no less per Note 10 of their 2004 accounts filed with the Electoral Commission!

"their bye election ... failure"
Is this a translation into Englisch of LibDemSprache "bye election success" at Bromley
Alles Gute
PS Are the letters on Senor Guido's comments section discriminatory adaingst the dyslexic or merely short-sighted
I see No.10 is out in force tonight, still blaming the Tories rather than face up to reality, ho hum. Speaking of delusional fuckwits, nice to see that nice Mr Oaten has relieved himself of the electorate of Winchester rather than on them.
They say 'in lines with guide lines' I have never seen such a obviously Labour leaflet I am sure it is far more difficult to get these things printed in bright blue!
can the guy who linked the michael howard thing check it the link doesnt seem to be correct.
ho hum, another self deluded labour fuckwit....
" I am of the confident belief that the ban can be effectively enforced by the police blah blah blah"
What an interesting idea. An MP spends shit loads of her time getting a Private Members Bill through the HoC (do you guys even know what a Private Members Bill is?) and you post this crass idea...Dari DOES IN FACT help raise money for CRY. Perhaps you should ask the founders of CRY how much Dari does for the charity and then maybe you wouldn't be so bloody flippant.
