Miliband's Blog Costs Taxpayer £6,000

That is not including the hourly rate he is paid to waffle on about the brilliance of the government and himself. Remember it is not political. It is crap however.

Guido recommends the geeks at Aplus, who will do it for a lot less!

email Aplus Wireless Networks, Consultancy, Hardware & Software

UPDATE : John Forristal of blog specialists Aplus, took a look at the Miliblog and emailed Guido to say he would have quoted no more than a grand for the job.

Pah - £6000 is just a dip in the ocean when it comes to all the money they waste ...

He should have used blogger.com - they'd have given him a blog for free.

They say Gerry anderson wanted to do real drama with real people. Myself I was very satisfied with the puppets and still find Captain Scarlet, Stingray etc to have both acting quality and dialogue superior to most TV drama today, and the plot lines are far superior.

Anyway imagine my surprise when the Milibands appeared - it seemed as if we actually had real people acting like puppets and I am now convinced these represent the triumph of holograms in projecting Anthony Blair to a wider audience. This is Supermarionation indeed

Must be honest, saw Milliband on TV for the first time yesterday (sheard him on the radio tonnes of times, but god knows how I have had the luck to avoid his slimy televisual presence so far)

Had just staggered out of bed when he was on (was it on Dumblebore??), so wasn't totally compus mentis... but that may have helped with gut instinct

My first thought - he has a shit eating grin (maybe he is in the wrong party.... :D)

My second thought - oh my god, he looks like Portillo, but he doesn't have the personality of the man.... love or loathe Portillo (I lean toward the latter purely because he comes across as a smarmy shit), at least he has a personality to go with his slimeyness....

Milliband is just.... ::shudder::

If £6000 stops Millibland from doing his pointless work of a minister, for even a few hours a week, it is money well-spent.

Where did you get the £6000 figure from?

Does Miliband reveal who paid? Himself or the Department (i.e. the Taxpayer)
