As established on your esteemed organ some posts below, the use of the word "straight" is incredibly homophobic.

As an erstwhile resident of that fine constituency it always seemed to me that they didn't count the Labour votes so much as weigh them.
This is hardly going to help the Lib Dems, will they never learn?
As the Labour candidate's about 8 months pregnant, as I understand, it's hardly a story, now, is it?

More amusingly the Lib dem candidate is campaigning against bridge tolls even though LD councillors voted for them...no change there then!!
