In a viciously cutting stand-up routine, comedienne Sandi Toksvig, a celebrity* LibDem supporter, sarcastically said that Chris Whuhne, of the three candidates, had the qualities the party would need in the coming years."If you are looking for somebody to be the next Prime Minister - especially the first Liberal Democrat Prime Minister, it helps if he or she looks and sounds like a Prime Minister," Sandi cruelly mocked.

Will Chris distance himself from Sandi's courageous but questionable dress-sense? Beards and sandals we can cope with. But a lavender-Lent Cardinal-coloured, two-sizes-too-small, Her-Maj-visiting-shipyard in 1960s knee-length coat, with matching trainers, baggy, shapeless black jeans-'n'-top, early-period Princess Di bouffant hair-do, and terribly outdated jumbo-sized microphone? With that electric-blue podium and orange/yellow/grey backdrop? I don't think so.
Huhnes (old English name, is really pronounced 'Hun', by the way) surely needs no such support. All of us here in North Norfolk are united on this issue.

I think Huhne looks as much the PM as Cameron does. Not sure how much that says about either, they're just fairly unspectacular middle-aged white public schoolboys.
Sandi is a mad gayer. I've never forgiven her for taking a public swipe at Bottom for being "unfunny". Pots and kettles...
